4. Please Stop Supporting Cedega - in Linux [original thread]
Fabrezio, I don't think you 'get' Open Source. Selling open source software is expressly allowed and encouraged under the GPL v2 and v3. In fact right now I could download WINE, change its name to GIVEMEMONEY and sell it to you for $400 and it w...

5. Wine EP 1.1 Memory Leak of Doomy Doom - in Linux [original thread]
A fix for this will be in mainline wine in a couple of days but for those eager not to have to restart their client every half an hour this fixes the issue in the short term. http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=15803 (Bug 15033) If that doe...

6. Please Stop Supporting Cedega - in Linux [original thread]
Hey brainball what's it like to back the wrong horse? Also how often do we have to have this thread. CCP did not want to deal with the open structure of the Wine project which made Transgaming the best choice at the time. These days they would b...

I also agree with this. I was leading a suicide gank gang yesterday and jumped into a system with a friendly camp, several neutrals jumped in behind us and I called for them to be killed. Half way through pew pewing them local lights up with the...

9. EVE on the PS3 via Linux? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Originally by: Clavain Treesmighter That can be circumvented by using something like QEMU, but then eve'd run slow as hell. Agreed. The arch has to be x86 to use wine/cedega which is a shame and I don't believe QEMU has any graphics ac...

10. [How-To] Eve on Linux (Ubuntu 6.10) without Cedega - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Edited by: Cloricus on 06/12/2006 01:40:55 I only get between 8 and 10 fps in space while station fps is normal (25 or so). A mate with a much better pc is also having the same results. Guessing it's a limitation some where?

11. Cedega 5.2.5 / Dragon Patch 4561 - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
According to idle chatter in IRC last night Transgaming is aware of the issue and suggests it is a problem with an unimplimented stub. Some one is possibly looking into it...The wine users don't seem to have any problems loading it still.

I'd like to say that the fps boost seems to apply to those playing under Linux as well. I can now put off buying a faster cpu and pay for my next six months of EVE instead. Good work CCP. :) I have noticed a 10-18fps increase in station and in s...
