2. why was i banned? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Don't count on fast resolving of this case - CCP Customer Service is crap. You'll wait 5 or more days just to get response that it's your fault, no matter what rly happened. Since you've paid why should they care? Huh...

3. Jump Freighters- WTH was CCP thinking? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Doggiee on 21/08/2009 10:04:13 Null-sec nerd is terrified to ask for help with escort because he has no friends he can trust or even talk to, so he prefers to run his 10 accounts alone. He then sees an idea that could put his selfis...

4. Jump Freighters- WTH was CCP thinking? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Looks like CCP thinks the same: http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=683 So it's like a stop of carrier/dread hauling, now at least you'll need a specialized char and expensive ship for almost 99.99% secure logistics in null/low-sec. ...

YES to convoys NO to easy-road logistics NO to magical "Move to Jita" button NO to lager power-blocks that hold absurdly large areas with almost no effort

6. Jump Freighters- WTH was CCP thinking? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Quote: it was back when it was hard for alliances to control more then a region cause it was harder to keep a logistics chain going. imagine that, ppl actually had to do freighter ops and make big gangs to escort the freighters to their dest...

7. Jump Freighters- WTH was CCP thinking? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Doggiee on 19/08/2009 18:25:36 Originally by: Verx Interis Considering the number of ambushed JF's by many alliances during various evac's, I don't think they're invulnerable. 5 dreads can tank the deathstar and melt the JF...

8. Convoys - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Doggiee on 19/08/2009 18:18:51 It's all coming to a one point - EVE is quite anti-social. All of the people I invited to try the trial (my friends from other MMO and FPS games) say one common thing - IN EVE SPACE YOUR LONELY (not i...

Basicaly similar case: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1153659 I don't understand why "fun" generating game mechanics are taken out to be replaced with easy-button.

10. Jump Freighters- WTH was CCP thinking? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Quote: Anyway, very few people want the current travel situation to change because it'll make their life a little more difficult. Who cares if it's better for the game in the long run. I think it was Greyscale that brought up nerfing carrie...

14. Convoys - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
But it DID work like that :) And it was good. Then CCP separated light from darkness ...no wait... people discovered safe, idiot-proof one-man-two-chars carriers with large cargo bay and the risky convoys lost the competiotion due to lower risk-vs...

16. Convoys - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
What happened to them? It was the main point of fluff that got me into EVE - convoys of slow and heavy transport vessels with escort of fighter ships moving through dangerous space, fighting of pirates, scouting the safe way, protecting the goods...
