check if your internet connection drops when you are idle - eve doesn't transfer much data and if noone is chating/jumping it is possible that windows/your router/isp disconnects you

I would suggest to run the logserver, open a new workspace in there and then try running eve.exe wait for eve to crash, save the logserver output zip the logserver output file and submit it at http://bugs.eve-online.com/ with a nice description...
