I used to much prefer 1Lar1Mar to dual lars. Obviously not as much repairing ability, but way more flexibility in rep/cap as well as fitting. Also. AB and pulses I found to be much more effective.

A bigger positive to the Amarr laser then the cost of ammo is not needing to reload. I used an Apoc for about 9 months and then an abaddon for 6 and they absolutely owned bloods and sanshas. Pulses are the way to go on them imo, along with an AB. ...

I want to put a vote in for the Abaddon. It's a little more skill intensive, and you need to mission in an area that gives mostly sansha and blood missions, but it absolutely melts those quicker then anything and its able to have a very nice tank ...
