1. Eve starts in a tiny screen, any solution? Ubuntu 10.04. - in Linux [original thread]
Mine does something similar. I've got the same startup command, using a 1920x1060 resolution virtual desktop, but the virtual desktop actually only starts at about 1280x1024ish and I have to drag the corner to see everything each time, eve itself...

Perhaps that has to do with the bitscancelled issue. I know sometimes mine does splash and fail frequently, I have to kill the process and try again. Probably happens 50-75% of the time I startup eve.

I run it in a virtual desktop created by WINE, this is then just a window you can move around. The command looks like this: wine explorer /desktop=1,1920x1080 /home/chris/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/CCP/EVE/eve.exe

You will have to go into the ini files (sorry I don't know which one) and reset fullscreen to true. The white box is an ati graphics bug.

Same issue, click the extractor, click on the planet, it disapears, +0 cpu,+0 pg but still shows the isk charge. Can submit, but nothing happens except it steals my moneyz

Solo Dread vs Sleepers = Dead The easiest way to find a WH to a hi-class 5 or 6 that can actually let through a dread would be to scan one down in null-sec space.

Using Ubuntu 9.10, Wine 1.2rc something *Eve only Starts properly some of the time. As many as 2/3 times it will show splash and then go to a blank desktop. I have not noticed any visual bugs recently (Nvidia) I don't use IGB, so no idea on SSL...

I think a lot of problems could be fixed by limiting the number of supercapitals/titans that can be in a system. However, limit it by positive standings. Eg. 3 Titans in system, 1st is positive to 2nd, and 2nd is positive to 3rd, but 1st is not...

I've found that with the splash screen dispearing that happens on mine(I think this is the same issue). If I click and drag the splash screen around, it loads about 95% of the time.
