I did two missions for the mining agent in Khanid Prime and got two mining missions. They were not very good though. Mining 20 blocks of ice for 100K is not really profitable.

It is not always the same. However, it is mostly the same depending on where you are, so not depending on the agent. Every pirate npc operates in certain regions. if your agent is there (say Lonetrek), most missionswill e against the local pirates...

No, you can deliver it from wherever you are. You will not be able to start a new job when the bp is in the POS. You are able to do that if you have scientific networking and the bpo is in an npc station.

I think the idea of having farms is great! Giving them a purpose could be done fairly easily by creating more missions for food transport (there are some there). Famine outbreaks, new colonies, things like that. And of course famines on a planetar...

There is not that much money in making frigates. Destroyers have a bit of a nice profit margin. If i may give advice, i would go for drones. I make reasonable money on them. Probes are very VERY good to make money on.
