Go to a system without a station. These are ignored to a certain degree by miners becasue they require more work hauling the ore away to another system. Your find belts that have been let for quite a time here.

How much you make an hour depends on your skills, equipment, implants and the number of alts to provide boosts, mine and haul ore. Also a freighter alt to move it to where you will get the best isk from buy orders.

If you want to do it for a living then join an organised industrial corp. You'll find it allot easier to make ISK when you are getting max bonuses and not having to haul your own ore. Plus mining is much more fun in a group.
