Hmmm, could it be something related to the VGA? I noticed most of us with this problem are using a Radeon X800 (with an Athlon 64 of some sort, too). So far, no crashes with the RAM fiddling. Maybe that did the trick. Thanks a lot man!

I am having the same problem you guys are facing and in my case its not realted to temperature or audio. It's amazing that CCP hasnt answered anything at all considering its a show stopping bug.
