yep, missiles definately need to have their volume reduced, I can fit 6650 Large Hybrid charges in my hold but only 1108 Torps, somehow i dont think those missiles are doing six times the damage of a 425mm round so why should they take up 6 times ...

Sounds kind of similar to the problem I and a lot of people suffered after the exodus patch. If you're running XP, try adding the following to the prefs.ini file in the cache folder: memoryMapping=0 or memoryMapping=2 (1 is the default.)
