negatron: requiring people to bring battleships into pvp just for plex points would make many major plexes uncappable (at least with my noob nollij about what eve players are willing to sacrifice for a .14 standing gain).

Actually, problem is best solved by opening and closing map like 10 times. Easier, faster, doesn't require relogging or trashing overview prefs.

EA introduced the ability to protect systems under attack, but unfortunately the map control panel that allows mac users to color stars according to "X" is no longer available to me, so I cannot see which of my FW systems need plexrunning.

yeah, that's the conclusion I came to after spending oh around 2 mil on repairs in exchange for like 800k in bounties. lame. perhaps an entirely different ship with an active tank instead of the awkward half-and-half thing i tried today.
