Bad idea in my opinion, if we take this route then before we know combat will come down to fitting your ship (oh wait, I guess you want an auto-fitting feature aswell), clicking one button and getting yourself a cup of tea.

I think most of us can agree that armor tanking and shield tanking is more or less balanced with tech I modules. So why should the tech II shieldbooster get a greater increase over the tech I shieldbooster than the tech II armor repairer gets over...
