161. The Vigilant - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Web on a Vigilant or use another ship. Vigilant is an awesome ship, it's only problem is that a hefty pricetag and close range engagement range isn't exactly an ideal combo. An interesting thing to add is that you don't really need a scrambler ...

162. PVP Thorax? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
If you want to plate your Thorax, go with something else like a Vexor or Rupture. Thorax is IMO best with just all out gank and ECM drones. If the drones don't do the trick you'll die but it's cheap for a cruiser. Full gank + ECM Thorax is cheap...

Originally by: Wet Ferret It's a useless collector's item. Cool looking, unique and no practical purpose whatsoever. Actually I found the use to be rather obvious, to encourage new players (or even old players alike) to visit wormhole ...

165. What skills to learn for pvp - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
IMO you should have, - Damage and tracking enhancing gunnery and/or missile skills at V. The range enhancing skills may be necessary depending on what you opt to fly. - You'll want the ship class skill of what you fly at V, in general this means...

Edited by: Psiri on 31/12/2009 01:08:47 Originally by: Liang Nuren And that's if you lose the ship. If you keep insuring it again because you don't lose it.... well lets just say that's an obvious ISK sink. And yes, I've had far ...

168. 10 Reasons why eve sucks :) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Psiri on 31/12/2009 00:56:30 My list. 1) The need for vast ammounts of SP and dedication in order to make the game enjoyable (for me at least). 2) The complete disregard CCP shows for lowsec, with this the lack of targets in lowse...

CPP should never have listed GTC's in their store, knowing that they're charging a ridiculous price for the shipping of it.

I still cannot fathom how players give loads of their hard earned isk to complete strangers, especially when the banks even turned out to be untrustworthy.

172. A Suicide Ganker's Final Solution for the Insurance Problem - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I'm all for another isk sink in the game and more ways for outlaws of redeeming themselves. Suicide ganking however is just ******ed, 1) It makes no sense. 2) It tends to hurt people far more than conventional PvP, many whom aren't even aware o...

174. Ishtar - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Psiri on 27/12/2009 17:42:02 For nullsec shield buffer is the best option by far IMO. I don't really see why you'd want to plate an Ishtar, even if it's for lowsec. What you get is pretty similar to a BC in terms of DPS, power and ...
