yes still works, and is equal to POS module. You might want to check out the new compression sizes and ratios. All batches are 100 units now and their size has been reduced by quite a bit

Expect a lot of items to have stockpiles behind them from when manufacturing didn't have production costs tied in. People started hoarding stuff before crius and it's hurting to get started fresh until those supplies have exhausted.

As far as I'm aware, an outpost will give a ME (max 5%) reduction and a time reduction. Not exactly straight up cost reduction but less time usually means cheaper costs.

I believe the actual build cost is unchanged through out a system, the benefits of a POS come from specialized modules and no tax. Unless you're referring to something else.

Prices in jita seem to out of whack anyhow. Some compressed ores have come down to reasonable values, but a lot of others are just completely overpriced compared to their uncompressed versions. I would personally look at the price history for some...
