Do some research and try to find a passive way to make isk. Most of the better ways need a fairly large initial investment, but it's worth setting something up to avoid the grind and keep you in ships.

How is your system able to run eve if you can't run the creator? do you just stay in station with station effects off? My laptop card can run the character creator but it can sometimes get laggy in space. You should look to updating your graphics...
