Simply never sell immediately. Problem solved. If someone put up a sell and a buy order for the same item, you can place a sell order below his by .1 isk. now his entire asset is tied up in a scam of his own making.

There is one small problem with this. If the trader actually ran out of money, then 10% of order will put him into negative. This means he will have no money to set up sell orders for things he just brought. It'd be incredibly annoying.
