The idea is that you get your faction standing up, so then you only need a 4.65 corp standing iirc.

For cosmos it depends, i think up to level 3 and most l4 cosmos missions you'll be fine (most still include courier missions). The L4 epic arc is intended for BS or equivalent dps/tank (T3 f.i.). It could be possible in a well tanked drake. btw....

Normally i get a new mission when i just start a conversation with the agent in question. You don't have to be near the agent, just select from journal.

open map open character standing sheet, select corp press: show agents on map et voila. you see the agents of a specific corp on the map. Rinse and repeat and you'll get an idea where most agents are located.
