Same problem here. Cannot tell this happens every minute, but in different time frames for me. Also, the lag is not 1-2 seconds, but maybe half a second - this does not make it less annoying. Besides that, I still have FPS issues with 2 clients. ...

Do you mean you see the background image, but not the login form? If so, open your task manager and close all MS Office programs. In my case, I can reproduce exactly this problem when msaccess.exe is running. Once I close that, login works fine.
