Client-side performance is fantastic, best it's ever been. The UI, as mentioned above, is a bit quirky, but it looks very nice. Encounters and the on-board scanner are awesome, too! :D

You'll only find cosmic signatures using the onboard scanner, nothing else will show. Just hop planet to planet and run a scan or two. Remember, scanning is chance based. It might take a few tries to actually find something. 2 or 3 scans then mov...

Rats still spawn in belts as before. The encounters are just something new to toy around with. They don't have the standard rats either. Meaning, the Guristas pirates we normally find were replaced by the Pith complex rats.
