However I feel that two of them need fixing: - Warp effect - there's no sense of movement, camera isn't shaking as before, and overall it is just plain ugly - Cloaking effect - looks terrible on little ships, doesn't look like cloaking at all, but more like "hey look! I'm here" ;)

On the cloak issue I sincerely hope they change this I love the premium cloak on TQ.

Seems like an effect you would see from another games "buff" spell or sonething. Definately out of place in eve.

But camera shake is a ***** when you're trying to target other system icons as you get into warp. And the sound of a warp was almost as unbalanced in levels as a gate firing. The new effects also bring a little life into the beautiful but usually dark graphics in the game. The sound is simple and subtle and the effects are pretty cool. The only complaint I have is that the effect kind of fades a little oddly after you get into warp. A more consistent version of the warp MIGHT be a little cool but otherwise I like the new changes. Destroy all that which is evil, so that which is good may flourish.

For me 15 mins of travel in EVE is about the same as level of eye strain as 3 hours of playing a FPS. There were no ads and never are ads with those type of links before being able to see the picture, you probably just have some adware you're blissfully ignorant about.
