With that, the achura race (including Amarr->Religious Reaclaimers) will be the only old characters with charisma 3 after apocrypha. In fact, it will be IMPOSSIBLE to create a character with only 3 in charisma AFTER apocrypha. For those that doesn't want a character with peaks but rather a nice 99993 stat they will lose their ability to every get that after release, and only way to get a char like that will be to buy it from someone who created it before patch.
My opinions belong to me, you can't have them!

As of M10 you can't anymore. If you already have one achura balanced around that and don't use the redistribution you will keep that base of 99993. But currently the redistribution is bugged on sisi so they can keep it even when they use the function.

Are people that obsessed about min-maxing that they are going to lose sleep over having to have 5 Charisma as opposed to 3?
I made the mistake of picking Achura without even knowing about the 9/9/9/9/3 "trick", but to be honest I could give less of a crap about not being 100% points-efficient - I really don't see it as that big a deal?

You complained about being forced to have you charisma raised to 5. I commented on this. You were offended at being shown to be whining about nothing. That's clear.
What's also clear is that getting personal over it shows a serious weakness in your argument, among other things.

I am not losing any sleep over it but it concerns me that those who started with charisma 3 will be the only people who will EVER be able to have charisma 3 in the future. To me it feels as disturbing as the T2 lottery, i didn't start playing eve when that existed so my only chance of ever seeing a good T2 BPO is long gone. Unless CCP starts seeding T2 BPO's which they said the invention system is for.
It leaves some at a greater advantage just because they happened to join a few months earlier.

It's all part of the great Eve-Unfair. Since when did eve become a fair game? T2 bpo lottery was a prime example of this. How many of those that are currently "filthy rich" started off with a good t2 bpo they got by sheer luck from the old lottery? I would guess quite high if not 100%. Or how it's always someone else who finds that iteron III autopiloting through highsec/lowsec/0.0 carrying 50b of implants? Such is life (and EVE).
(But as our friendly dev pointed out it's a bug and not intented achura booster)

Sounds like some people what their cake and eat it too
I love this new system and thank CCP for finally bringing Lord of the Attr. to heel. A more balanced game for all and not just for Lord Joe cos he started back in 2006.

The new system will be good for all the +5 base is a master stroke, stopping these ultra fast CHR: from being cloned.

BUMP: Can a dev confirm that achuras will be ABLE to keep their charisma 3 after apocrypha?
EDIT: That is if they decide NOT to remap.

Yes, Achuras can keep their Charisma 3 as long they dont remap. If you're happy with your attributes and dont think you'd benefit from a remap, we're not forcing you to use the Neural Remapping.

nothing will change, in fact these CNR pilots will pop out much faster.
because the new system is messed up.
train 4/2 learning skills.
plug in +4 implants.
your now at 500,000 sp and have 23-32 attributes
46-64 attributes with the double rate.
you now get 1,100,000 sp left in which you can learn at about 5,000 to 6,000 sp an hour. Getting you into a CNR in maybe... 1 week? with meh skills? (you only need meh in missions)
I'm not doing math tonight, this is part speculation. What I do know is in 2 weeks new players can train at 4 times the rate an older player can.
we'll have mission alts flying CNRs all over the damn place.

my point was more to the perosn who said we now woudln't have cnr alts. : )
also new player have to train learning skills or they they ****ed over out of 8 months of sp. yes I've done th math, the new pay off during double learning rate is 4 times less than when not in double rate. So if it would of taken 5 months for those 4/3 learnings skills to pay off, it now takes 1 month. So if you play longer than 1 month you have to learn learning learning skills or everyone that did train them will catch up to you in sp-learning.
Am I sayign that right? for one month after training learning skills you'll be behind in effective sp (meaning not counting learning skills) but now woith double learning you gain those sp at double rate, plus you halfed your time to learn learning skills. Meaning it's times 4.
so yeah even more reason for new players to waste 3 weeks learning learning skills!
here is the basic fact, during double training time, with implanst at +3/4 you will get basic to 4. and advanced to 3 in 3 weeks. After your double sp rate is done this will take you 3 months. as you lose the double rate at wehich you gain more sp gaining ability and you lose the double rate.
so 3 weks or 3 months later. that is new question all new players must ask themselfs.
so yeah you HAVE to train learning skills or you'll have to take 2 more months training them later than you had too, and you'll earn sp at 1/4th the rate even before you have to train learning skills in 3 months instead of 3 weeks.

My attributes are 26.40 per 26.40 will 26.40 mem 26.40 int 19.80 cha
I have cha at 3
1. I can't take out points from charisma
2. If i put points in charisma after neural remapp i will be able to take out points till minimum 3 like it was before ?
3. If i put points in charisma useing neural remapp it will activate the rest of19.80 ?
and after i will be able to take out more points from charisma and spend them in something else ?
4. What the hell is hard to explain how math works ?
5. In my case i have to put 2 points in charisma to have a minimum 5 and wait one year to do the next neural remapp. We have a prob here . Fix the damm thing cause it sucks
6. I think all the peeps should have 2 neural remapps like the new caracters
7. I did one neural remapp on test server and now i can't make more experiments NoT even on the damm f u c k i n g server

I'm not happy because my OCD says I'm not happy with my current ones. My OCD also suggest I would not be happy with 2 extra wasted points in Crapisma, what happens now?
