i bet most people have now changed their skillplans to train up all the skills with their max sp/hr on current attributes to desired levels.
i have a really high memory so i'm finishing off my drone, industry, and corp mgt skills before switching attributes to perc/wp.
if you're new to eve, don't forget to not only start training a long skill before patchday, but also continue training long skills for a few weeks afterwards, in case of emergency extended downtimes after the patch.

Main: Empire control V (19 days left atm)
Alt1: Cap rep systems V (15 days left atm)
alt2: minnie drone spec V (24 days leftm including lvl IV)
So I think I should be reasonably safe on patch day and the week after it. If the skills queue works by then, I can finally stop worrying about losing skill training.

Well I just finished Gallente Cruiser V or I'd be doing that, but I will probably start Drone Interfacing V or Heavy Drone Ops V. Those or Gallente BS V.

Currently finishing thermic armor compensation 5, then on to EM armor compensation 5 and the latter should tide me through the patch. My new alt (yes, I finally got one after almost 5 years) will be training industry 5 through patch day.

shouldn't need to swap skills prior to patch day - I'm already working on a pair of level Vs for my main and alt, which aren't due to finish until the 14th.
Specifically, I'm training Connections V on my main, and Warfare Link Specialist V on my alt.

Though i am in the lucky position to have all those long time skills coming up now - no need to make special preparations for patch day.
Also don't waste your time to tell how "i am doing it wrong". I know my stuff and megathron and pest are exactly the next ships i want to be able to fly(well my alts respectively).

Main: Primary-Medium Hybrids 5, 6.5 days left. Augmented by Gallente starship 4 and ME 4 (both @ 3.66 days), hacking 2 (just finished as I type this), Gallente Encryption 1 (36 min) and lastly Empthy 3 (3h 10m) which will bring me to a 3-12 finish time. Secondary-large hybrids 5 just to be safe.
Alt: ME 5 which finishes on the 24nd so plenty of time there.
