Feedback from testing (50-10 minutes ago): Especially at the end of the testing, when shooting the Leviathan at FD-MLJ PVIM1:
There was no visible lag, i had constantly like 30-40 fps (brackets removed, low resolution, no effects, zoomed out), BUT:
The guns fired extremely slow. That were like 5 shots within 10 minutes (despite a theoretical rof of 4 per second). Also the rest of the modules didn't react for quite a while at the end of the test. But at least there wasn't a complete crash, the inflicted damage from the doomsdays was showing immideately. If you can fix that fire ******ation from guns it will be just perfect.

Well I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled and still get the message that I am running an incompatible version even though it is build 83913. Earlier this morning the test server patch worked great, but the second time I tried to login I ran into the trouble and haven't been able to logon since.

- T3 ships will be fine, though we do want a good mix!
- Mac patches are already available here
- Skills will not be altered specially for this test
- Using logserver while on the test servers is always recommended!
Awww cmon now I remember for Tranquility Armageddon day brought quite the turnout, could do another one to get alot more participation, or at least put players into ships they can fly real easily say if they can fly a super cap just toss em in it to enhance the results:D. Just wishful thinking.

I followed instructions and can not log into Singularity...
1. I copied my "CCP" (tranquility) to a "CCP test server" folder. 2. Downloaded and installed "Download TQ to Singularity Patch" (file name: evepremiumpatch75883-83913_test.exe) http://www.eveonline.com/patches/patches_test.asp?s=singularity&test=&system=win 3. Installed the "Singularity Patch" to the "CCP test server" folder 4. Created a windows shortcut on my desktop with the "Target" file:
"C:\Program Files\CCP test server\EVE\eve.exe" /server:87.237.38.50
5. Upon executing the shortcut, "Apocrypha" login screen appears: - Version: 6.10.83913 (Verified in upper left hand corner). "SERVER: TEST SERVER (SINGULARITY)" "STATUS: UNKNOWN" 6. Logging in with my my valid account reports: "Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."
OP I was trying to attend was: "Saturday [March 7] @ 20:00 GMT [Delayed 1 hour due to server updates!!]"
I tried these steps all the way through with identical results at: Saturday [March 7] @ 19:00 GMT Saturday [March 7] @ 20:30 GMT
While writting this, I also just tried to log in at Sunday [March 8] @ 2:25 GMT with identical results.
Any ideas as to what is going on?
My computer: OS: XP Pro 32-bit CPU: AMD X2 4200+ 2.19Ghz RAM: 3GB Video: Radeon HD 2900XT Broadband: Cable Modem (tested at: 8522kbps down/5002kbps up) http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/
This rig continues to connect to Tranquility just fine.

The current SiSi patch isn't compiled as a test patch, therefore it is trying to connect to Tranquility (which you should see displayed next to the login info). You have to add /server:87.237.38.50 to the commandline to get it to connect to singularity.

I wasn't at either of the tests but read the result, and it kinda concerns me. It looks like performance actually got worse from March 6th to March 7th. CCP, is this something you anticipated and can explain?

And where would this commandoline be located?

there we go thankyou for posting this
as to your question, go the the eve.exe file, right click it and copy, go to your desktop and right click and "past shortcut" then right click the shortcut and goto "properties" in the shortcut target put /server:87.237.38.50 after the eve.exe like this "D:\CCP_testserver\EVE\eve.exe /server:87.237.38.50"
now for the ones that dont know. the D:\CCP_testserver\EVE\ is where my test server game is located, it may be at a difrent path on your computer.
now use that link to run the test server this time and it will work

I'm terribly sorry, but what immense amount of new stuff are you talking about will effect fleet fights exactly?
After having another extensive look at the full feature page, I fail to see anything that will affect fleet fights.
Please elaborate.
Care to try and answer this one please? I'm really, really lost. *** 2007.10.06 R.I.P. Hatuk my friend.

Let me see... hmmm... maybe it's all the new graphics which have been added? The new turret effects, particles and what not... I don't know... or maybe it's the updates to the sound engine? no?... hmmm... then perhaps it's the new models on all of the starbases? .... or or or, MAYBE it's all the new "behind-the-scenes" updates to improve overall graphics performance in the game engine?
You, sir, are right. What could it possibly be that they want us to test???
