Same with me also running Intel Express 945 in Vista Ent 32 bit, only crashed at gates, hope this gets fixed soon

Whooohooo think I managed to sort this out,
This is what I did
1. Esc
2. Under display and Graphics
3. If Advanced Settings is checked uncheck it
After I did this I warped to a acc gate and all was stable, I jumped the gate got 1 flicker and then all was ok,killed some rats and all was peachy
FYI I installed 965GM drivers as discribed here Inter 9XX Gaming Group
Dont think it will make a difference as I was having the same problem original drivers and the modded drivers before the fix above, just to lazy to uninstall the modded ones

Just ran into my first acceleration gate, just had my first video driver lock-up...Done gang battles (about 60 ship total) worm holes (15 pc and tons of npc's) just fine, but at the first hint of one of these gates and poof, I hope the stations not camped when I get back...

Tried the fix Darxus suggested, no dice. Thanks anyway, <sigh>. I've even "optimized to performance" on the graphics tab so that it's at the lowest settings. Dang. I can even move around the gates, just not look at them. Darxus' fix gave me more time before the crash though. Tried to get a screen shot for the bug report, but to no avail. And why isn't my avatar showing up damnit!  Sorry that was just frustration...

Same problem here. I hit an acceleration gate, and it crashes the game with a ialmrnt5.dll driver error. I'm on WinXP + Mobile Intel 945GM video card.

If you stay fully zoomed out so the acceleration gate is not renderd, it's ok, just DO NOT ZOOM IN esp when ur getitng shot at.
really wish they would just give us a `consol like most shooters do full of comands so we can wireframe the game and run it on calculators

I am having this problem but not just at stargates, happen in stations as well.
Video crashed and sometimes recovers, other times the computer will completely reboot.

Gah,
same problem here.
Dell Latitude D620.
"The ialmrnt5 display driver has stopped working normally"
Crashed twice in 5 minutes at first, then reduced the quality, but for this one mission it keeps crashing all the time.
I will have to quit EVE ;\, no money for new laptop.

Thought my problem was sorted, if I zoom totally out I still get the flicker every now and againg but atleast my PC dont freeze up totally, suppose it is playable for now until CCP sorts this prblem out

I'm having the same problem here. I've tried four different versions of the drivers and still no joy. Whenever I get near a warp gate, my machine reboots and 'recovers from a serious condition'.

Remember to bug report, people, until you get a 'we are aware of this issue and are looking into it' response. Then post it here so we know something is being done, however slowly.

Same problem with acceleration gates, also a small group of space stations don't show up, the spotlights do but not the model.
GMA950 with latest drivers.

I have the same problem with acceleration gates, screen freezes and then BSOD. SOLVE THIS PLOX! KTHNX. :-(

Also having bsod when i zoom in on my ship and theres an accel gate on grid... running intal gma915 on my asus laptop, classic worked fine, apocrypha worked better until this. Like everyone else in this thread, if i keep my camera zoomed out / switch to map its all good. Please fix this, dont forget to submit bug reports peeps, my laptop might glow hot when im in a big fleet battle but it doesnt seizure like this

I have been dealing with this since the patch and finally found a work-around that works great for me. Don't know if this will help everyone, but it works for me.
When I warp to the mission I immediately select a gate in the UI as soon as the warp starts. Make sure you have the clipped image of the gate in the top of the UI.
When I arrive at the gate I right-click the gate icon in the UI and pick activate and go right through. If I select the gate I crash... If I haven't selected a gate before arriving at the mission gate I'll crash.

Wow. Bug reported this on patch day and took till yesterday to convince them something is wrong. It may be gpu overload but it is odd that it exclusively happens with accel gates.

Has anyone got a response from CCP, besides the Get New Drivers. It's not the drivers its CPP's Gates. This is happening to other systems besides Intel.
Everyone please BUG CPP.

Same issue, Intel GMA950 graphics, disabling sounds has no effect. Screen 'flashes' followed by BSOD whenever an acceleration gate is on screen. Reported as issue ID 75349.

I did notice that I could do pretty much anything in game, except have the beam of the acceleration gate on screen. Once when I was actually trying to cause a crash the beam was not showing and I had no problems at all. But when warping back to the acc gate the beam showed and my system crashed immediately. Otherwise I have not experienced any problems in any other location or activity. Sux too 'cause my newest mission is going to expire... Anyone want to throw me a bone and tell me where the "Ghost Ship" is at Merolles lX ?  Ah, well...life will go on....

Intel 915GM on Panasonic Toughbook with this issue.
System locks hard or gets BSOD or goes to 'safe mode' like screen when an acceleration gate is on screen.
Zooming out works most of the time.
Bug reporting this....

Having the exact same issue with my laptop - Vista Home 32bit and Intel GMA 950. Originally reported the problem here.
I filed this as bug #75152; CCP was kind enough to inform me that "We are already aware of this problem, and have added your bugreport to the existing issue in our defect tracking system".
Let's hold thumbs that it gets fixed ASAP!
