Now taking bets on how long before the OP learns once again that spending absurdly large amounts of money on a PvP ship is not a replacement for skill (just browse a few of the OP's setup posts and comedy lossmails).
My bet is on "within a week after getting all the subsystems".

Was it worth paying 1.8 billion for a couple hundread mil ship? And even THAT is speculating the end price pretty high. Will you be paying more for the sub systems?
Also, I would say you're the first to own a proteus and make a thread about it. Do you have any confirmation you indeed, have the server first ship in your posession?

couple of hundred mil? not gonna happen anytime soon, if the amount of effort we're seeing to get the bits is anything to go by.
Anyways, gratz, gotta have respect for the intrepid people that are first to venture into new territories. Tbh, I expected it to cost much more than 1.8bil

So you have effectively paid 1.8 billion for a hull that requires ALL 5 subsystems to be available before you can even assemble it.
Subsystems are looking at costing how much each?
I am sorry but I just can't get excited over a ship that is going to either cost so much ISK it becomes unviable, or requires so much ratting & other crap to reasearch/refine/build/etc that it would either require a lot of people to take part or require the person doing it to put a lot of ingame time into it. Then once I have done one of the above things when I fly the damn thing if it just happens to be destroyed I lose SP's in one or more of the subsystem skills.(I just don't understand ATM what this ship is aimed at with it being such a pain to buy/build, it is of course just a cruiser classed ship with reasonable resists I guess under the right configuration)
I understand that when a ship comes out it is ALWAYS priced well over what it should be, & I guess no matter how hard or how much they cost to get there will always be those players that will use them, so well done to the OP & it might not be a very good idea to let anyone at all know when you are going to take it out for the first time. That is if you really want to be able to keep flying it for a while.........

Congrats. I feel it only fair to warn you that getting on a T3 killmail in more than enough justification to kill an ally. It's also good (for CCP) to know that at least some of EVE's playerbase are so easily entertained that even functionally useless new content will keep them subbed.
Also, quotation of rules 1 and 2 marks one as a new*** who needs to watch less TV.

If you fail to see how T3 is suaeful, your loss.
It will not be a mission ship (not primarly anyways), and not a fleet ship, but it provides something that has been missing in EVE some time. I will leave it up to you to figure out what.

On Topic: Very nice ship, congrats on buying one of the first Proteus to be produced. Once again I wish EVE had a certification numbering system so that everything had a unique number so you could say without a doubt that this is "Proteus #007" or something.
Off Topic: Nobody cares about 4Chan. THAT is why it was a 'super secret club'. Not due to any real secrecy, but because it is completely unimportant.
