You might want to stick with those numerous officer-fitted Sins you so adore... you seem to have a longer survival rate with those... more than a few days at least...

I think the wrong questions are being asked here. What I need to know is: what did the tech 3 wreck salvage bring in?
Btw. it would be hilarious of untold heights if it turns out that it was some bug in regard to the Proteus that made your EVE application crash. Of course such a bug will only be uncovered after multiple tech 3 ship owners have experienced the same, so it could take some time.

Someone salvaged the wreck but I don't think we got any info on what he got from it.
I wish I remembered the salvage because someone was selling cheap salvager's in system rofl >.>

Yesterday evening I was talking with my corpmate and a few friends about getting tech 3 ships. I told my corpmate that I'd buy him one and I would give a deal to a few friends so they could fly theirs too. It was going to be 2 Proteus', a Tengu, Loki and Legion. So, I bought the GTCs today before logging in, and wasn't going to try and get the isk put together until I could get ahold of my contact for a new price check on the new ships.
So, those aren't actually for MY Proteus (I can get another one myself) but for my corpmate's. I have a long history of giving away neat stuff to my corpmates and this is just the next neat thing for me, so instead of faction fleet, it'd be Tech 3 fleet.
And believe me, that ship was awesome, and so will the next one I get my hands on. Dunno how long it'll be though. Hopefully CCP examines the logs I sent them and agrees with me this is no bueno and reimburses the ship.
CCP should have NO reason ro return your ship when it was YOUR COMPUTER that failed, not their servers.

What a train-wreck of a thread. The loss was delishis though, as was the killmail.
Then just when it couldn't get any more silky smooth; "I CTD! NOT MY FAULT" excuses really were the cherry on top.
