Just so everybody knows, since I started playing EVE, I have always fully backed anything Gallente. Because I am so narrowly trained on the Gallente skill focus, I have great drone skills, up-and-coming good gunnery skills (7 mil in pure Gallente gunnery, do not have much to 5 other than the tech 1 stuff and tech 2 prereqs, and am working on Surgical Strike 5), and fantastic tanking skills.
The interesting thing is, Gallente has no true focus anymore, in my estimation. They are crossed between both gank and tank, and throwing bonuses at ships that are stretched in interesting ways (such as a drone/rep bonus or a gun/rep bonus so on and so forth) it makes me proud to want to test out the unique but inherently struggling ships that exist.
As a little backstory, I trained up for an Eos after I heard it was "nerfed" and all that. While I am sad that I didn't get to use it when it was the omgwtfpwnmobile, I believe that I managed to enjoy it for what it was -- a great tanking CS. Similarly, the Sin which is in a class of somewhat prenerfed ships also received a warm welcome from me. Additionally, I have done some interesting things with other ships such as fitting out a combat Oneiros (which did very well in many 1v1s) and more.
Gallente is the way to be. Personally I have always wanted to avoid FOTM both in real life and in EVE. I rage against pop culture, and my ingame persona is a reflection of that. Not just knee-jerking at whatever is considered "the best" gives me peace of mind that I am training up one skillpath that is going to maximize my long-term efficiency.
And there you have it. I love Gallente, and I want to see their ships shine. Someday, I hope to have the ability to pilot all the ships and own at least one of each (perhaps even the super capitals.)

No, I don't spend real money to buy eve toys. I believe that by keeping what is in-game in-game, you can further enjoy EVE. I have actually earned most of this ISK by exploring wormholes and making money selling rat ****. It's iconic and for me it has a bit of a "I did this to get it" feel. The GTCs are for non-related business.

I thought the only way to sell a GTC is if you pay cash for it through established channels. I must be mistaken, because if you were using RL money to increase your Eve wallet, that wouldn't be "keeping what is in-game in-game" would it?

congrats! don't take it personally from these Debbie Downers. You pay your monthly fee, and therefore can do whatever you damn please with your isk.
I don't begrudge anyone who not only has 1.8 billion isk, but is willing to spend it. Hell, i am so cheap that even though i could buy one, i could not force myself do it. I just horde isk without using them for their intended purpose: buying ships, and watching them blow up in pretty explosions. Atleast you are having fun.

Strategic cruisers are overrated. They are just HACs with a couple of extras. I could spend up to 400M for the complete ship but that's it. Anything above that is a waste of cash.

Based on my previous experiences with you in Faction Warfare, if you see me or any of my corp mates expect to get popped. If you fit that T3 overpriced garbage can like you fit Sins then any sec hit will be well worth the trouble.
