ive been flying about in my crow attacking anything i see..apart from bs' i like to fight all the other ceptors, i attack them and so far havent found one that can compare to the crow. anyone ever beaten a crow in other race ceptor?

Couple nights ago I've beaten a corp members crow in some other ceptor, during a training fight. We both had mwds. |

Taranis+crow= -crow.
One ship i wont engage in my crow is the taranis unless specificaly setup and then thats dependant on the pilot.
The crow a very a nice fast and powerful ceptor just lacks to many defences IMO compared to the taranis, taranis is a better anti ceptor ship on the other hand crow is a better group/fleet ship. why i fly both and love em. Just feel safer in the taranis hehe.

Crow was the queen of ceptors while it had cruise missiles. Now it is more in line with other ceptors. Taranis damage output is just insane  And it looks damn cool :)
But now i got my assault ship skill to lvl 3 :) *waiting*

ive taken on the taranis before and found that it didnt hit me once...not sure if it was the pilot or ship.
never lost a crow to another player

I've got nearly a dozen crow kills in my taranis, with only one loss to a crow. And he ended up in a pod at the exact same time I did.

I've killed Crows with Taranises and Ares. IMO the Ares has an easier time of it, since you can armor tank it and it can carry defenders. I've also beaten Crows with Breachers (granted, that was during the time when they could carry cruise missiles) and (once) in an armor tanked gunship Rifter. Every single time (discounting the cruise missile Breachers) has been with a close combat gunship, and my tactic has just been to get in as close as possible as fast as possible and try to outlast the thing. Crows do great damage, especially at range, but they are pretty fragile ships...

yeah when thy have mwd fitted thy have not that much HP, thy would die to 3 cruise missles or some blaster shoots

Just had a duel with one in sv5, was very close, he ended up warping out because some idiot forgot to set his scrambler to auto-repeat (doh) His excuse was that his guns didnt turn on (my logs dont show that  ) mine is, I was using crap guns (which I was lol)

Sure, the Crow is fun. But I feel it's truly a "long range" Interceptor (and the only one at that). While the Taranis can fit 3 small blasters with a sick RoF and deal a lot more damage quicker than a Crow, a Crow can warp scramble at 20km and launch missiles without worrying about smart bombs, a tight orbit, or an ECM burst (if people actually use those ). I have fought Taranises in my Crow and have lost simply because I can't deal the damage a Taranis can even with good missile skills. However, a couple weeks ago we took down a Raven with frigs and I was the only one able to sit at a safe distance and constantly hit for over 120 while still scrambling.
They're completely different ships.
