So how people people outside of EVE refer to what you are doing when on EVE?
My mother calls it 'that stupid game' or 'reason why download usage so high  '
???

lol, it works fine on a modem.
Usually EVE just cuts it. many people wouldnt care if i said CoD4 or red alert 3.

For me it varies from "That game sucks, you can't even steer your ship yourself, you have to click where to fly!" (a WoW-playing friend of mine who's never even tried the game) to "Damn, Eve is a really good-looking game" and "OMG are all those dots on the map a star-system?" (My awesome brother).

I'm so glad my hot girlfriend is a gamer. Although I do miss out on the laughable replies that others have posted here :(.

I agree, my wife is the same way.
However at work while conversing with my boss about the awesomeness of eve, he just replied "Sounds like your addicted" and went back to work.
