Was just wondering if anyone else have had masssive and constant crashes since the latest patch?
Its quite annoying :(

No crashes here at all... I think you have some sort of problems on your end. Try making sure you have updated video drivers and that your video card is properly cooled (i.e. no dust bunnies in the cooling fans etc). Barring that maybe you have a corrupt install of the game or possibly some other program that is running on your computer is conflicting with EVE.

Happens a lot when I'm playing around with the fitting screen, also sometimes when I zoom out it'll just get an exception window and the game will close... 
Happens on 2 different PCs here...

Myself and two friends crash if we change ships while the fitting window is open. If the fitting window is closed, it's fine.
No similarities, Vista 32, Vista 64, and XP 64, completely different hardware specs.

Yes, fitting screen is pretty fraked up at the moment.

Happens to me all the time even if the fitting screen is closed. Very annoying when crashing in space while flying in my freighter. Takes a minute for it to warp back to where I was at and another minute to point in the right direction again.

Yep, Fitting Screen seems to have a fit ... ok that was cheap but anyway.
Good to find other having the same problem (misery loves company?), now I was assuming XP64 was the culprit but since somebody stated it happenes on 32bit as well ...
Looking at H. Clone's setup all I see in common is 4GB of RAM and an Nvidia GPU ... now that's like 4 wheels and an engine to a cars, gotta be something different :/
Nothing is overclocked and my system is a fresh, otherwise very stable, setup.
Otherwise: "Our logs do not indicate any problems on our side ..."
Edit: "Why the heck did I just reactivate my account?"

I myself dont crash on the fitting screen :/ I crash when undocking - especially if ive had the game minimized to check out mission specs on eve-survival
Or if im running apps such as winamp or itunes too
Also my sound is messed up at times :/

I pretty much guarantee a crash doing this
1) Dock into a station
2) Open the fitting tool
3) Minimize to desktop
4) Maximize EVE again
5) crash

same crash issue usually with fitting screen up..different from that vista security DEP thing..
We are told to beware of wolves in sheeps clothing, but we should be far more concerned about sheep in wolves clothing, and should not become such a thing ourselves. |

Check your computer's temperature.
As an aside, if you get trinity.dll crashes a lot, that's usually the cause. Hot processors are not fun.

I only crash when I have drones out. Once they are deployed, I crash randomly.. usually every 20 or so minutes. Sometimes less.

If i can play GTA4 at super high res with everything maxed without my computer crashing from overheating im pretty sure that its not the problem in eve ! :P
When i crash, it just takes me to desktop in 0.00000000000000000000001 second as if the game was never running - now this might imply that i have faulty memory - so i ran a prime95 test, which eats all ur memory, and it didnt crash - so basicly - Fix the mem leaks pls CCP! :P Actually my client only consumes 500mb :/

Ever since the latest patch I have also had constant crashes, never had them before. They happen most when I'm in the fitting screen like everyone else. And also just about any time I alt-tab out to EFT.

I have a GeForce video card and was crashing a lot recently too. I could've sworn I already had updated video drivers, but when I went to do the "update driver" option from the device manager window it did update my drivers and the problem stopped.

Eve crashes a lot for lots of people since the last patch. I run a corp and roughly 3/4 of all my members get the crashes including me.
The fitting window definitely is causing crashes, but seem to be a lot linked to running multiple clients and being in a fleet.
Anytime we use eve voice, everyone in the convo crashes about once every 10 minutes.

Absolutely same here. At first thought it's my pc, but i did every check and cleanup possible.

Some days I have these bursts where EVE will crash a number of times for 10-15 minutes, then be fine for a few days, then do it again.
Edit: Mostly involves forming fleets.

Same has happened to me while running missions, in the middle of a fight. Has happened 4 times in a row, then all is good again.

Jepp, latest small patch made me CTD all the time. Never CTD in a station though. Always in space. 100% of times it has happen when I rotate the camera. In missons, in plexes, in the covetor sucking ore. Very anoying. Tried the cache wipe and it got a little better but not good. Before that small patch I had zero CTD.

you all should get together and compare notes on what kind of hardware you have. i run two accounts off the same install on one computer on two monitors and do not have this problem whatsoever.

Yeah since last patch I can usually guarantee a crash if I open the fitting screen, load a setup from my setup library, then right click on the ship in the 3D view to bring up the context menu. If I open the ships window and right click on the same ship in there it is fine...

Just an update - Disabling the "Bloom effect" has fixed it for me totally it seems
