Problem with the last patch? Something seem like it got changed by accident and isn't in the patch notes? Or does something just not work the same? Post it here.
Please remember that we need constructive feedback to what may not be working correctly. This is not the location for discussion on the changes, only any issues or problems that may have arisen as a result of the patch. Thanks.

Seems that the T&L part of the patch doesnt seem to work with my Nivdia card, Ti4600 (latest drivers) Windows XP, latest directx
When I come to mine, the asteroids just go black then white.. they repeat over and over until the mining lasers stop.. it looks horrible.
Maybe some setting to turn T&L off? I can't find it. |

This may be correct but since the patch i am being attacked by the Gallente Navy in Nausschie. I have been doing missions for Kaalakiota for about a month with no problem but after the patch i get this message when i undock
"2004.08.31 15:05:07notifyEnemies of the Gallente Federation are not welcome here - you will have but a few seconds to flee before we destroy your ship seoul! Enemies of the Gallente Federation are not welcome here - you will have but a few seconds to flee before we destroy your ship seoul!"
the Gallente Navy then proceed to follow me wherever i warp to and attack me. Is this supposed to be happening ?

Not sure if its some crafty way to eradicate insta jumps but you cannot Copy ANY Bookmarks anymore.
If you attempt to copy from your people and places folders to your Cargo hold you get Error message:
'Notify You fail to move that because it is no longer within your reach.'
And you completely lose the bookmark(s) in question ....good one. I just lost a bunch of bm's this way and its happening to EVERYONE in my corp so beware

Not sure if its some crafty way to eradicate insta jumps but you cannot Copy ANY Bookmarks anymore.
If you attempt to copy from your people and places folders to your Cargo hold you get Error message:
'Notify You fail to move that because it is no longer within your reach.'

Yep, you have -5.01 to Galente Federation, so from now on (after -5.00) ANY Galente Police/Navy (not sure about sentry) will attack you.

In that case the Diplomacy skill does not appear to be working because on my character sheet my standing with Gallente is -3.81 taking diplomacy skill into account.

Not enough 'remote armor repairer' skills on the market. some $%&º eh.. bussinessmen try to sell a 80k skill for 3m...
This problem is well known that ppl buy off all skills. why were so less skills only released ?

It's been asked for a dozen times, and we were hoping it'd be removed with this patch - the subfolder for reloading ammo is an annoying and unnecessary addition that only adds extra mouseclicks to the heat of combat.
I wish things like this wouldn't get ignored.

Yup, that really ******* annoys me when veldspar carebear mining rich boys buy up all the skills and sell them at much higher prices.
I can appreciate maybe doubling the prices but 80k to 6M?

Well i am getting crashes to desktop, every 5 mins or 10 mins. I had 5 within a hr so i logged for my own safety. My client crashes out too a grey screen , then it resets my ADSL. I have checked all my other online games and they are fine. Doom3 UT2K4 and BF:V all are fine. But every since the patch i cant play. I have a 2.4ghz intel 1gig ram and a ati 9600 so any ideas??

I mean, we have Tech 2 guns dropping now, but not a Tech 1 mining drone, or many of the rudimentry modules that regularly drop as loot. This makes manufacturing somewhat of a joke, drives up prices and gives us a very poor foundation for Tech 2.
I hoped this was the patch to sort it out, clearly it wasn't. In fact, I can't find more than a handful of items added.
Overall, for the manufacturers of EVE, I rate tis patch 2/10.

Smartbomb range is impossible to tell. As far as i can understand the range is calculated to the centre of the object, while the distance displayed is to the edge of the object. Therefor the only way to figure out where you can use a smartbomb without it deactivating is by trial and error, which brings grave danger while in empire space due to the many people flying around. As an added side effect the smartbomb still takes away cap even when it does not fire which to mean seems really bad.
As a solution I would suggest to bring back the old situation of the smartbombs, maybe with extra warning that the smartbomb might damage objects at slightly longer range than reported and that caution should be applied.

I never had any memory problems before with EVE, but with this new patch it seems that the client is eating away through the memory (currendly even using 106mb of the total 1878mb I hav) and uses an big piece of the CPU (sometimes well over 80%) while im not doing anything in EVE in a system with no one around and having nothing else then the EVE client running in windows
Can the dev-team hav a look at this memory/cpu problem? thanks!

The Medium Energy Neutraliser II is still not available on the market . The BPO's are out there, but the market still doesn't know them. (A bug report about this was made when the 1754 RC was on Entropy)
