mobiles suck there so buggy. Last night i had one bring me out 180km from the gate. Next time i warped straight through it and landed on top of the gate. Third time it actaully stopped me. This was all from the same place using the same IJ bookmark.
Maybe if they worked people wouldnt mind about smarties being nerfed.

Utter rubbish. Make it so stargates dont respond to splash damage, dont nerf smartbombs to hell. Mobiles are already so bugged that they dont work half the time, but now frigates, indies and pods are -literally- invincible No way to stop them (Including mobiles).
This is another step towards ultimate non-consensual pvp. People can now go anywhere they want, anytime they want, with NO risk or worries (As opposed to the 0.1% risk of actually running into a smartbombing battleship at a gate before).

I think its getting a little ridiculous that its so easy to avoid PvP in Eve, and it seems to be getting easier (if thats possible) with every patch.
Low sec space should be dangerous. Its not. You can run away and insta jump with ease. Without risk games become dull fast. I spend alot of time in low sec space looking for someone to ransom. It takes hours of farting about to find a suitable target (ie, someone in a roid belt) and by the time I get to engage them, I'm usually so ****ed off with it, I just end up ganking and podding them for the hell of it. Not good really.
Then there is the aggro timer on top of that. Its ridiculous. Yep, this is a whine. But what the hell, I dont do it that often
I'm hearing that insta-jumping will be gone soon... is this correct? The sooner the better. -------------------------------------------- Dead

Agree with two above posts. While I'm arguably the worst PvPÚr in the game I actually quite enjoy it (deathwish maybe). The way the game is set up now it's practically impossible to engage anyone in pvp without them agreeing on fighting you first. This makes PvP into a boring game of Hide 'n Seek. How about placing warp-inhibitors on all stations and jumpgates to get rid of the coward instajumps and -docks. Also the activation-time of the warpdrive should be much higher in combat situations to avoid people chickening to safe-spots. Probably utterly st00pid suggestions, but they'd make the game a lot more exciting.

Unfortunately, CCP has a fine line to walk here. Although this is supposed to be a PVP-centered game, there are apparently lots of players who have no interest whatsoever in PVP. Since, in the end, CCP is a business out to make money, they end up making all sorts of concessions to the non-PVPers for fear they'll take their monthly subscription fees elsewhere. 'Tis the harsh reality with all mmorpg's that make concessions to the whining masses.

Well, if you dont want PvP, what the hell are you doing playing a PvP game in the first place? I don't get it.
Why dont these people sod off to EQ and mince around with faeries if they dont want any PvP action? Why should the rest of us, who subscribed to the game on the basis that it was a PvP game, have to suffer cos a load of idiots decided to subscribe and now want the game changed to suit them?

I'd rather them allow smartbombs in 0.0 around gates.. but add turrets to protect the gates. So once people start smartbombing and hurting the gates, turrets attack whoever is doing it. It doesn't make sense why these people would build gates in these systems without protecting them.
Gate battles are lame. I joined eve to get into some of these large fleet battles you see in videos, but was disapointed when I found out one side most likely camped a gate and waited for someone to jump through, so they could own them before the other side got done loading the system.
I'd be happy if when you go through a jump gate you come out at the other side at a random part in the system nowhere near the gate.. when people wanna fight, they can do it at a station, belt or whatever safespot they're at (i hate safespots :()
havent thought this through completely.. so bleh ________

Ehm and why and what would you be fighting for exactly? The reason why gates are being used to fight at is well, you use them to travel around block the gates and you block a region basicly. So removing that would make it even more impossible to do any form of controling for example alliance space, or even attacking an alliance since they will have absolutely no troubles what so ever with traveling while you are trying to get them to fight.
Anyways bad bad move to nerf smartbombs, not really usefull if you cant use em 5km from a gate/station and the smartbomb already had horrific limited uses . -------- -The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs
