Have just bought 3 of them.
I bought one previously from ShopTo for ú16.99, so this is even better - and as has already been confirmed you can use the 60d card in the box to extend an existing account no problem.
I still think it's ridiculous that it's cheaper to play the game by buying an actual retail boxed copy. What a complete waste of resources - I'm going to have 4 boxes just taking up space.

I don't remember anyone bringing it up that wasn't using it as leverage to push for something they wanted.

Did the retail box ever even get to go on sale in Australia?
I don't recall having seen it anywhere since I heard about the "delay"

Yeah, there was some legal issue with MMOs at the time - I don't know if that was ever even resolved so I figure Atari turned chicken because of it, but I had hoped that if it were resolved I could do the same thing as the British players when the dust settled and boxes ended up in bargain bins, as they always do ...

Pottsey thank you thank you. Been waiting ages for somthing like this. This almost makes up for being screwed over in the UK playing eve for the last few years. You just saved me well over ú300 over all my aco****s for the next year or so. If i ever quit eve one day yes you can have my stuff.

My orders all got cancelled cause my card went over by about 50 pence.
They're now all 29.99.
I'm ready to break my computer screen right now.
I wonder if CCP said something to them to make them double the price since it makes them look like the money grabbers they are.

There's no ****ing way im paying normal price after missing out on that deal, maybe I'll just let my subs run out cause I'm absolutely furious and it puts into perspective how much money I can end up wasting on this overpriced game over time.
They can stick their 1 year subscription where the sun doesn't shine too, I can't afford that all in one go.
I hope Europeans and Americans get charged for their subscription in the same numbers in Rupees but with a dollar sign in front or something similar one day then they'll know how it feels.
At least World of Warcraft doesn't screw it's customers over.
