TLDR: I stole an unmanned orca and CNR in highsec, but lets try to laugh at the victims not me? Until one night I was watching the "ships" trade channel, some nublet was saying something like "I know where theres an orca free to take, convo me" Of course, this was suspect, but after I did convo him, and found out it was in highsec, I felt I had nothing to lose by checking. Before I got the location, I promised him 50mil if I flew off with the orca. 19 Jumps later, I get into system, warp to the belt in a pod (ditching my shuttle on a gate) and land at 0, around 25k from the orca. BUT IT HAD NO PILOT. The owner was in a hulk, not far from it. When I landed he ejected, and got into the orca before I got there. This char could not fly a hulk, but I also realized he cant just scoop it from the orca, he needs to be back in the hulk to pack it up. I warp to a nearby station, and tell my new friend (who is in a can-flipper kestrel) to hug the orca and get into fleet. Not 2 minutes later, I get a pod on scan, the call to warpin, and I am the new owner of an orca. That is just the start. The next day I figure if one person is THAT stupid, I need to hang around. So I grab a covops and spent awile there, eventually seeing a CNR running missions, didn't bother to probe it out. Until a hulk and orca join the CNR on scan in the mission. An hour of afk-ness later (and a few rounds of "the killing floor" good game!) I suck it up and probe them out. I land cloaked, and see the CNR has no pilot! its also 30k from the hulk/orca who are jet can mining. Creep up, eject, profit! ***ty fit, one faction resistance amp, and memory cell rigs. free cnr* I will continue to monitor the situation here in unnamed system and provide updates when appropriate.

The pilot was in a mission belt doing the hulk-orca thing, had a corpie come along in a pod and grab it on him. I then promptly told the pilot he could have his pressssssshious ship back for 200m and he sent the isk directly to me without a contract or anything. There was much win in thet situation.
