What I noticed during the start of the war and its further development is that the concept of war within Eve diverted from a competetive level to a polarized emotional Love/Hate factor. When there were Wars between CA and SA or ASCN and BoB or any other war, there was no intent of either side to ruin the game for each other. It was meant as a competition with an adequate emotional level to keep the participation high. It was more in a positive manner within the alliance than a negative manner outside the alliance especially on public forums. Since Goonswarm arose within Eve, more and more people got involved. The Leadership of Goonswarm polarized the 0.0 life of eve so much that people can't move out of any positions they are in because the walls between the frontiers and outside the blocks are build so high, noone is able to climb over them to reach at least a neutral level again. And yes, I blame you for this, Goonswarm, especially you, Mittani nowadays. You dragged a matured game to an emotional level of a childish pecking order. You aren't satisfied with just winning a region or winning a war for the time being. You are not interested in good fights. You want to ruin the game for people who do not want your concept of war or are opposing you. All you want is to brag about everything you have achieved which is, broken down into what you achieved by yourself, not much at all by yourself. The interesting part in all these wars is that even people who I recognized as "old-school" eve players do not figure out what you're really doing here. You created such a nice bubble around them with your PR that they don't really have time to think about the things you're actually out trying to reach with SA.com & Goonswarm in this particular game. How long do you think can a mature (wo)man take your BS in local or the continous scamming until (s)he thinks that this might be the wrong game playing and quit? What I do not understand and which is my major concern is that SirMolle actually let himself being dragged down to that level and starts engaging you there. He won't win with this because you got by far more experience in this matter than him. With your constant reminding of the community about the t20 incident where only a few were involved anyways to the point where people start believing CCP and BoB are working closely together and must be hated and destroyed you did a good job. People actually do believe that. Otherwise I can't fully get why NC for example would work together with you even they chased you away before. To come back to your quote: Why should people be utter bastards in this game? If you host for example a game of monopoly with your r/l friends, would you like it if one at the table would tell his friend that he should constantly collect all your cash and throw it over the whole table? Further make an egg explode in your microwave, puke beer all over your couch and ** in the floor? That's what a bastard would probably do which you call out. Ruin the game for the others participating. I mean, c'mon get a little straightened here. Have your wars, and have your engagements for the fun of it, but don't drag it on far below WoW level. Until he somehow ended up in charge of GoonSwarm he was a failure at eve. You know the type, the ones who can't quit figure out why he keeps dying in low sec but still goes back everyday to get ganked again without looking at local. This is Remedial. Somehow, Remedial wound up in charge of this alliance. What this means is that he posts constantly on SomethingAwful attempting to get more people to join and play eve. "Great, more players!" I hear you call. Yes, awesome. Until you realise there are now 2000 people led by a **. For the first while, everyone thought "awwww, aren't they cute". Then when they went and kicking seven shades of out of D2, everyone thought "rofl, D2 are getting owned by newbs". Then they took the out of one of my ingame friends who unfortunately passed away in a rl accident. They did kick the guy out who did it. Meanwhile they laughed about it all on their forums. Yeah, we now have a ** for a leader and a bunch of ** followers. Thankfully not all of GoonSwarm were **ed but for every **ed one there was another one who simply turned the other cheek. Fine, you can all ing die. Then they started an eve-o flamefest attacking everyone and everything in the game. Leaving all sense and sensibility at the door they went on a rampage. So did we. But we did it ingame. It began with us camping S-U, the heart of their alliance. We did this for a month. In that time we owned them completely. We removed the ingame pos, we removed them from their ingame ships and we removed thier ingame will to play. They mocked us saying none of it mattered, yet they still continued to get owned. Their alliance is a joke, there is no leadership, there is no teamwork. There is nothing but a bunch of idiots playing eve solo while asslicking a ****. The lucky ones are those who have seen through the facade and have moved onto other corps. They might have a future in eve. Those who remain will be griefed, harrassed, killed, mocked and abused until the servers go down. They will never be allowed to build up in any sector of 0.0 space and whose alliance will be slaughtered whenever we feel like it. Goons in space? No, Corpses in space.
