Unlike groups such as PA or CA, we are one team. We always hang out together, we sit on the same battlefield, we always are only fighting on one front.
We see hostiles in somewhere like BKG, we all go there together to try and kill them. The hostiles are invariably never as well organised, and sit in their safespots waiting for backup.. sometimes for hours and hours. Whilst they are waiting to get their numbers up to at least 2:1, our guys get bored and go off to do other things. They sit on IRC and Teamspeak and go look at some **** or play a game of risk or come post here on the forums or WHATEVER.
Suddenly, hours after the original call, our opponents decide to make a move. Someone who is still in the game will make a call for everyone to come back from whatever they are doing because there is a fight going on.
We all log in to fight.
As if we need a bloody trap to fight you dolts. It isn't a flipping trap, its a call to arms. It's not our fault that we spend most of our days hanging around waiting for you to get organised. The m0o guys know exactly what I'm talking about, caus I've seen them say the same thing.
Now, you can be children about it and claim we are cheating or whatever to make yourselves feel better about it when you get owned, but I think most of you know what the real truth is. These kids from big alliances petition us every week for something ridiculous. We have been investigated more times than you have turned on your computer because of these clueless alliance sewing circles, and we have never been given any warnings.
You know what? I agree with you. I am sure that's how it goes. Except why do you whine about it when the same is done to you? We all pretty much fight the same?
When Homo Erectus did the same thing to Firekiller I did to Jackal, why was evolution all over it on forums? And not me.
Why is PA called safe spot campers when Evol does it just as much, (everyone does it, it's how you organise your gang)
Why is Rona KIA called Running KIA when all roaming corps do the same?
And my favourite one, why is there so many noobs flaming me in hope to get some recognition?
Who needs to grow up here?

i can answer one of those i think. RONA is a part of an alliance. alliance that claims territory. when they run away from invaders, they loose the claim to that territory, and so their alliance loyalty is questioned. when m0o were in CA, we defended it when SA/Evol came. (while other corps didnt, but they were quick to yell "traitors")

Why would that be any of your concern. R-K are a Roaming corp. They do what they do best and they kick ass at it. Do I ask you where m0o is when we fight Evol solo? Who cares.
And besides PA forces in BKG were more than enough for what we had to deal with. When you outnumber your enemy they never tend to fight anyways.
My question remains, who needs to grow up? -

No, there is a difference between a group who are maliciously using log-ins as a gank trap and what I just described. Bladerunners knowingly did the former, and were warned by the GMs who investigated. They also admitted doing it.
Quote: When Homo Erectus did the same thing to Firekiller I did to Jackal, why was evolution all over it on forums? And not me.
I can't speak for Homo, and he is also no longer in Evol, but if it is true - two wrongs do not a right make.
Quote: Why is PA called safe spot campers when Evol does it just as much, (everyone does it, it's how you organise your gang)
PA have an actual policy not to fight unless they substantially outnumber their opponent. I find this frustrating and not within the spirit of the game. If we have substantially less numbers than our opponent and they still choose to sit at their safespots rather than defend their "claimed" territory, they will cop some of our scorn, yes.

My concern dear Presidio is none of yours. (omfg im Jade). However, it is my right to call things what they are. Rona ran from invading forces, thus running kia. And regarding that song your leaders used to sing "we had enough people to deal with you in BKG" worked before you withdrew all your forces from the area and ran to empire.

lol, Jake comment is funny.
We haven't been in empire space since the war started. Atleast GODS haven't. The council had different direction for us, we just executed. We did well in BKG. But not everything is in BKG. We are fighting 110 corporations in this war. One thing is fo sho, and that is that we are still scoring alot of kills every day. I mean you can like steak alot but it gets old if you have it every day for 3 months in the row, ya know -

Edited by: Negotiator on 08/09/2004 02:18:25 i dont remember CoD or FU actively claiming your regions. All they want i think is pirate and oppression-free space. Evol, m0o and RKK are the liberators of your claimed territories. I must say, you got a real ****ty council when it comes to making logical descisions.

Originally by: Shirei At many many battles in BKG in the last few months, there were about 5-15 Evol/allies logging in and joining within 1-5 minutes of the start of the battle. Quite a few times almost all at once, which makes it kinda hard to believe that there wasn't some kind of coordination going on.
The only coordination is pointed out above i.e. people got bored of waiting and are basically doing other stuff. It is worth noting that virtually the only time fleet engagements in BKG or surrounding areas happen is when our side either attacks a numerically superior force or sits at station waiting for those same said forces to engage us - and in both cases I suppose you would see those guys join ~5 minutes before anything happens (either the move to station or preparing to engage).
This is in no way a trap, or even devious use of logging on or off - we probably have had one or more pilots join midway through a fight as well but that would just be late arrivals as usual.
This whole bit is probably irrelevant tho, these baseless accusations (and, rofl 'assumptions' it would seem in some cases) of log on traps seem to relate to us being fast movers.
We're clean. Squeaky clean. And unlike some others, we might even have the mails to prove it.

It more or less started with each side being defensive, rather than blaming anyone specifically.
Its usually the newbs that get caught in the crossfire that start such accusations and then everyone gets their panties all twisted trying to bounce them back to the other side.
In the end, who cares really... if there is any foul play just press F12 and the GM's will take it from there. _____________________________________ Perpetually driven, your end is our beginning. "Can I be a consultant for EVE II?" - WhiteDwarf |

You see we were ordered to do what we did by the council because if we had not they would have been in BKG as well causing the guys up there a lot more hassle. We hardly RAN in to a non hostile situation we arrived and slap the living poo out of 2 alliances, as a ex COD member said "the COD fleet was destroyed in about 1 week" yep thats right 2 alliances vs 1 corp
