Both !!they are both exilent in there own ways.
Peronsonaly for fleet i prefer the crow and find it more adaptable then the taranis but the taranis excells in anti frigate simply because of its damage output potential.
So it maybe best to look at what you what your interceptor for? Try out the incursus for the closest thing to a taranis in standad frig and a rifter/kestrel for the crow.

well. crow has the advantage of running its equip 24/7, taranis doesnt.
on the other hand, a taranis almost matches the dmg output of a apocalypse with 6 tachyons + multispec.

short range = taranis medium range = crow long range = crusader ew = stilleto
if an inty can get to its desired range and stay there it wins. Mostly harmless |

crow is the most versatile interceptor because it can both perform in short range and long range. and crusader's long range aint that long, its better for close/medium.

I love the raptor. the 50% hybrid range bonus kicks some serious booteh. Warp scramble and web, all while staying 10km from your opponent and lobbing missiles and hybrid slugs. It keeps you out of anti-frig cruiser range since they usually scam with 7.5s, and you're just on the fringe of web range so you can get out pretty easily. And it looks cool. And it also looks cool.

I fly both the Crow and Crusader and I prefer the Crusader. It's got decent range that will allow you to hit without getting webbed. Excellent tracking for lasers, no ammo either. Second fastest interceptor, next to the Claw. In PvP you will dictate distance. Both the Crow and Taranis can barely keep up. And as with all frigates, once you're webbed, you're more or less dead. Staying alive is what the Crusader does best in my opinion anyway.

Edited by: DeMundus on 12/09/2004 12:56:10 Well, I've said it b4: I fly all but the amarr interceptor. And my favorite Baby is the Taranis, Its fast and I use it as a fast assult ship. Quickly in and out. The other day, me and 2 other frigs and 1 Cruiser took out a tempest wiche was armor tanked, I had to go out of combat to recharge my Cap, but that was the only down side. I did not have a Nos on wiche I should have had in that engagement.. I instead had a proto clok on wich also fits very good on my Taranis.
