I play Eve to PvP, so at this point I am happy that the jump bug is fixed and I can move ships and supplies around. I was looking forward to the weekend, but experienced the database bug last night and this morning. Short Term Outlook: Fights will happen this weekend /w a minor chance of server rollbacks in large fleet fights. Long Term Outlook: Fights will continue until we get D/Q Country back or the servers are shutdown. Serj

I really hope you guys stay around forever and we can continue to get ~good fights~ until the end of time. But considering how things are looking right now I don't see how this could ever happen. Even with those 26+ alliances in the posted list (I could even come up with a few more) there aren't enough to even keep us from sieging in Euro prime, where a month ago in the same time zone we couldn't do anything but sit around with our ****s in our hands because we were outnumbered 2 to 1.

See what I did there? he's not a candidate, he's a representative, which is pretty chill i would have voted for zastrow, but solo's robot-voter told me to vote for avalloc instead :( anyway the whole argument about "who has more" is ludicrous, which is what his post points out. we're good at diplomacy, we have a big coalition, we're merely pointing out the obvious hypocrisy when someone on your side accuses us of having 'too many' allies while being part of a 19-alliance coalition themselves

See what I did there? You tend to drop a lot of dead corps when your alliance is disbanded, I imagine.

The actual number of Alliances referenced is humorous to say the least. Add up all of the Alliance and the numbers are more then likely similar at that moment in time. The last time I saw the numbers GS coalition were up by a few hundred, which was a few weeks ago. Not real sure where the numbers are now to be honest, since I really don't care. The real interesting data point will be population density between the primary two timezones, along with participation level. In my opinion I hope they are very similar since that typically means good fights. The difference in the long term will be how long the Alliances in both of our NAP lists are willing to ride bikes to the South for the war. In my view the Alliance with the most friendly Alliances based in or near the South will have the greater long term opportunity for success. I hope the same ebb and flow goes on until the servers go down for good. Honestly, what other game exists in the non-fps realm where you can log in and be in the fight in minutes on a single cluster? Needless to say the bickering back and forth is a waste of bits, but if that's what it takes to fuel this Red vs. Blue, then so be it. Serj
