eveo has a 4000 character limit so i can't fit much more into the op
making a new thread for each day is silly esp on days when kenzoku is lying in the fetal position crying softly and not putting up resistance, such as 6/3

On the Eastern front:
Atlas+Agression have continued our push east. Atlas as of last night secured several high end moons and has destroyed over 60 hostile towers in the detroit area. Agression is doing well cleaning up the leftovers of immensia. Resistance has been light. Xdeath did manage to online a cyno jammer in one of the contested systems during our off time. Sov4 has been broken already in once constelation and we should have the second sov4 broken in the next couple days.

I think what we are learning from The Mittani's threads is that while KenZoku sat out the first month of the war in a NPC station, its allies were busy cutting off the Goons' retreat. Apparently, no one noticed that the Goons' disconnected the utilities and hung out a "for sale" sign.
I do not know whether the Goons are any good at this game, but y'all are doing a good job writing its history.

Ken did the right thing. There was nothing they could have done against the sheer numbers of people that bum rushed delve after the goonswarm metagaming attack. The best thing they could do is sit it out while the rest of us did our part to take advantage of the situation on our end.
"Heh the plan all along was for them to keep goons occupied in Delve while we secured their undefended space."

Originally by: dastommy79 For historical record Atlas and the rest of superfreinds was disgusted by the actions and where willing to leave our current theaters to assist in delve. Molle made the call for the rest of us to stay and cleanup your mess down south. This also shows the character of your enemy, one who sacrafices himself for the greater good of his friends. E-honour and stuff
Let me get this straight. Kenny allies say, "We can take them! The betrayal doesn't have to be a killing blow!", and Molle said, "Naw, I'd rather lose everything." ?
Huh. I don't see how that fits into good strategy OR 'honorable' behavior. Now if they had left to HELP you take territory or something, that would be different. I mean, then there would be ACTION behind the decision. Instead, it looks like a sorry sort of rationalization after-the-fact, and completely ineffectual action regardless of what the intent was. Do you have chat logs of board postings to back up this strange claim?
I mean, what was the point of doing nothing for a while, then? Where is the honor displayed?
The way I see it, if they want to keep Delve, then they thank you profusely for offering aid, accept it, and repay you ten-fold once the war is over. If they don't think they can keep Delve, but that their allies could get some territory while we're distracted, then they can clone jump/pod-jump, evac whatever they can to your territory, and help you take systems. Then you, as good friends, provide some stable base with which to launch a long-term attack back on Delve.
Instead, what appears to have happened, is that they abandoned their defense of Delve, failed to assist their allies. Then they changed their mind about things, requested/demanded that their allies come to their aid in the defense of 49-, did some tower spam... and then got bored again.
I just can't see how your assertion has and basis in reality. There's no honor in what they are doing, it's just chaos and indecision.

Ahh yes. The old "The south was burning" argument.. sad thing is.. the amount of station systems lost to Kenny and AAA in the south that was defended amounts to one. We still had station systems in Estoria with jump bridges that had successfully been defended for months, for example 111. Yes the RIT attack had stalled but that was because a Goonswarm director reset DG- which kind of distracted us for a few weeks.
The biggest battles for Detroid and Fieth were ~(a)The 2 pronged assault on 0-w and EPROS on the 20th of December, that ended up with the entire BOB capital fleet killed and AAA's fleet reduced to smoking wreckage ~(b)DG- which was when we burned your director level spy and in desperation he dropped sov in one system by stealing an account. Both of those resulted in total victories for Goonswarm and allies.
When the reset happened we were gearing up to go on the offensive, as BOB was spent and AAA was suddenly unable to do anything without their high level spy cluing them in. ~Wicked Creek had been completly taken back from EXE despite BOB and AAA defending it with everything they could throw at it. ~BOB was down to one system in Detroid. ~R2TJ had been held once again and set up as a jump bridge system for the second time. ~AAA was down to disrupting Jump bridge systems again, but at that stage we had secured a secure alternative jump route to empire so trade was flowing into Goonspace once again, so that made no difference. ~Hell I was able to rat for hours without interruption when I needed to. ~And BOBs staging system in HADOC was camped 23/7 by PL.
Sorry this whole "Goons fled the south in desperation into delve" is total crap. When we arrived in Delve we were battle hardened, hungry and our morale was in the stratosphere. AAA didn't even begin camping the AZN area for 2 days afterwords.
No-one stopped me shooting towers last night, or this morning. Will they do it tonight?

The funny thing about the "-A- were busy taking goon space KenZoku bravely fought alone against impossible odds" line is that -A- spent a lot of the first few weeks of the Delve offensive roaming around the Delve/Querious area with 100+ HAC gangs while massive fights were raging. If they'd brought fleet battleships and jumped into the action rather than flitting around the fringes, the outcomes might have been different. Regardless, they certainly weren't fully occupied with unopposed tower spam and they certainly had the opportunity to do much more to swing the outcome.
