i was just wondering why, since the Ishkur is a "frigate-class drone carrier" why it doesnt have a drone damage bonus instead of a gun bonus. i think that adding a drone damage and pherhaps hitpoints bonus would be a very awesome idea |

The AFs are all missing a single bonus, though adding drone damage would be good, it might make it just entirely to much ****.

the ishkur is already one of the best AF. No need for a boost.

because it doesn't need one? its got decent damage already
besides, largest bandwidth of any frig size and a bonus to drone bay pretty much sums up "frigate-class drone carrier". its not called a "frigate-class drone wtfpwnmobile" though this wouldn't be out of place as is. |

I'd welcome a drone damage and hitpoints bonus, if the bandwidth was reduced to 20 Mbit/s, ending up with more or less the same damage output and persistence, but with improved economic efficiency. But that is not what you had in mind, right?  |

no, not really but i think that would be an ok tradeoff, if you had assault frig to like 4 at least

Assault Frigates need a boost in general. The fact that given a choice between Inty and AF for PvP the choice is pretty much always the former is not right.
If they are assault class frigates they should be for sticking their nose in and out damaging inty's.
Something like these chages (feel free to poke holes in them as they are off the top of my head and by no means theory checked):
Enyo
Change the Assault Ships skill from 10% bonus to small hybrid turret optimal range to 5% bonus to small hybrid turret damage per level
Ishkur
Change the Assault Ships skill from 10% bonus to small hybrid turret optimal range to 5% bonus to small hybrid turret damage per level
Vengeance
Change the Amarr Frigate skill from 5% bonus to rocket damage to 10% bonus to rocket damage per level
Change the Assault Ships skill from 5% bonus to cap recharge rate per level to 10% bonus to EM rocket and standard missiles damage per level
Retribution
Add a medium slot and remove a high slot.
Change the Assault Ships skill from 5% bonus to Small Energy Turret damage per level to 10% bonus to Small Energy Turret damage per level
Hawk
Change the Caldari Frigate skill from 5% bonus to Missile Kinetic Damage to 10% bonus to Missile Kinetic Damage
Change the Assault Ships Skill from 10% bonus to missile velocity to 5% bonus to Missile Launcher rate of fire per level
Harpy
Change the Assault Ships Skill from 10% bonus to Small Hybrid Turret optimal range and 5% bonus to Small Hybrid Turret Damage per level to 10% bonus to Small Hybrid Damage per level
Jaguar
May need a change but, does not look too bad.
Wolf
Finally an Assault Frigate that is not in desperate need of changes
or challenge me to a game...

Properly blaster fitted, it matches ANY AF's DPS at close range, and can deal about 90 dps (Hobbygobby IIs) out to its maximum drone range, which is excellent for an AF.

On the subject of the Ishkur, in my opinion its above and beyond the best AF already, giving it a drone damage bonus too would be silly. |

An Ishkur with drone damage would be even more overpowered than the 2-midslot Retribution.
It is already one of the most damaging AFs around.
No to deliberately overpowered ships! |
