bookmarks should be shared easily between anyone as a rule. in game and in an rpg sense they're saved 3d coords. how hard is it to tell someone 3 numbers?

i think its a mechanism to make ppl train more and therefore sub more. its all through the game in all different ways. also, they'll argue that it gives you ships with options and variety so you don't get bogged down in X fits into Y and you pwn ALL

mates idea, based off another games idea (sins) but yeah. fighters and/or the new fighterbombers used as pos desense. have a bay structure, can support X amount of drone bandwidth, deffinately more bay. obviously have them restricted to the grid.

if anything the locator should show the player as being in the last non-WH system before they jumped since they haven't left that system via gates, but this would be a terrible idea and would be better at getting you to that location than showing ...
