Hi
I'm only considering to change my (well trained) character to another kind of character. Thinking of it.
Am I allowed to make an inquiry kind of post? Just to see what kind of money I may get for that one and will it be enough to buy that kind of character I'm looking for. In other words character isn't yet obey 1-18 rules you have in forum, but I'm not really offering it for sale yet either.
Aside question. If one has character I'm looking for and I've got character he is interested in ans since amount of SP will very close can it be done as exchange char <-> char or has it be always char <-> isk <-> char ? |

Next you'll want to swap account details
Stick to the rules: you want a price check then title it PRICE CHECK (PC)
and not (WTS) (WTA) etc.

So;
When purchasing a character, Are we able to file a petition for a name change? If not, why?
I've seen a dozen characters I would be interested in trading for or buying however I cannot stand the names people choose. Names are interpersonal jokes, references, or handles used by the original creator.
I've got the isk earned from playing the game, just not some of the skills on a new alt, however I do not want 'Captain onall4s' to be my new alt's name as I find that completely ridiculous. 'Captain onall4s' may have x at level 5 and y at level 5, which I do not wish to wait for on my alt, but I certainly do not want the name.

Sent to character Lee Tung, 7,3bil, to purchase himself. He contacted me in game and posted on forum. Then disappear. CCP, could you investigated and return my isks if this character scammed me.

Also it would be great if all WTS/WTA and WTB threads were in separate sections. I think, because browsing through the forums for a few days now and it can get confusing, esp. when tired! Maybe it's just me but I think sellers/buyers would benefit a little.

Nope character can be renamed. not for isk, plex or rl money.
Why? I cant tel, just that it is not possible as till this day.
How i know? I tried :) but got a negative on that.

по какой причине в первом посте правил не указано то, что невозможно перевести покупаемого персонажа на аккаунт который был создан и проплачен менее чем за 72 часа до момента сделки ????
p.s. for whatever reason in the first post the rules do not specify that it is impossible to translate bought the character on an account that was created and paid for less than 72 hours prior to the date of the transaction??

Question about #9: My character is the CEO of an alliance and CEO of a corp, and is the sole person in them. I am interested in selling the alliance, the corp, and the character as one. (This saves someone 1 billion for the alliance fee)
Can I do this or is #9 an absolute?

I have won an auction from the character biz on this account and character "Rosenwyn Gentrie" recieved 3.5B as per B/O.
I have liaised several times with this player and still have not received transfer of character, the player has stated that CCP are dealing with this but i have reservations and this action has now been ended over 7 Days now. The forum post is still active, i have asked for a refund and he/she says that they have now spent the ISK and that i will have to wait for the transfer which is down to CCP.
Please can you help me on this matter as you have ignored my petition.

when holding a charachter auction, people sometimes send isk prematurely, before the agreement to sell to that person is made.
they send the isk before seller has even come home from work/wherver and then they post on the thread "isk sent"
is it possible to get a rule for that please?
or can we start adding the line "IF any isk is sent before agreement for sale is reached that isk is considered a donation" on our sale posts?

This is stupid, I dont have access to the credit card used with the account and cant use a different one to insure security? But then you give the option to pay the transfer rate with 2 plex's? That is completely stupid i just sold a character for 1b but then had to spend 700 million isk to buy 2 plex's to transfer the character to the person.... thanks alot CCP.

Question: If I sold a character and wanted to buy it back but got no response due to the account being banned is there anyway I could get the character back? I would gladly pay for the transfer and if the account is banned what harm could it do? And yes I have tried to contact the account holder in multiple languages.

there should be some sort of a warning about people trying to get your account infos by sending you a eve-mail, claiming to be interested and give you a link to follow.
Ingame links can be changed and appear to be legit, but when you c/p it into out-of-game browser the link changes. This happened to me just 2minutes ago.

I've read carefully all the rules and advice on bumping, but still have no clue if I am allowed to answer in thread and bump it, or a total of only 1 post per day is permitted.
For example, I created a thread on March 17th, bumped it on 18th, bumped it on 19th. Then someone offers me buyout on the same 19th. Am I allowed to tell them right away that I consider that not enough for buyout (like I did) or do I have to wait for March 20th? If I answer that right away (for a total of 2 posts from me during one day), am I allowed to bump my thread the next day as usual?
Also, am I allowed to post a link to my thread (not spam it) anywhere like I did in this post or is it considered to be forbidden advertisement? If so, I will remove it right away.

Dude, you can bump (For the sake of moving it back to the top page) once a day, replies are fine, updates are fine.
You will know if you are trying to bump more than once, and someone will give you a gentle reminder not to :)
