There seem to be many tools out there for so many aspects of eve my question is this
Is there someway to create a char sell/buy tool?
the tool could be used to show a guide price on char.
there would be a base price on skillpoints eg: 1 skillpoint = 1 isk
so for skills that take 2x to train the skillpoint would be base price x train time multiplier x total skills with that mutiplier
also could take into account cost of skillbooks
If there is someone out there who can do this it would cut down on so may price checks on char and would give a fair price on what chars are worth

FAQ
Q. HELP there is a scammer, hacker, or other issue with this thread. What do I do?
A. For all issues with character transfers please file a petition under billing-character transfers. You can also use the "report" function located on the top right of each post so the thread can be removed.
Q. If the character transferred to me is training a skill what happens?
A. It continues training, even if another character on the count is currently training a skill. Once one character finishes training only one or the other may train like normal.
Q. Can I transfer my new character to a new account?
A. Of course! As long as an account activated, not a trial account, then it can receive a bought character.
Q. I keep getting the error that my old character is still logged in and won't let me transfer. What do I do?
A. Zorvoz found a work around that should fix your problem. Hopefully this will be fixed in the near future.

A. Character scams are not allowed, just file a petition and GMs will look into it and transfer your ISK back.
Q. Can I get a Price Quote?
A. Yes! Please use the Price Check forums though. Browsing for similar characters and how much they sold is also a great way to find a starting price.
Q. Is ISK the only currency for buying a Character?
A. Yes
Q. My character has ships and ISK still in their hangar and wallet. Can I put it up for sale still?
A. Of course, just please remove these items before transfer and do not calculate them into the price of the character. Be careful because all items will remain with the character upon transfer.
Q. Can I sell my Damnation, Navy Raven, Nyx, etc with my character?
A. Nope, but you can sell them in the Sell Order forums.

A. No! I love all of you! This thread has been cleaned up of posts and this FAQ posted mostly in the interest of keeping the thread small and information easy to access. What sort of time frames are put on Petitions for character scams? I am not moaning, just wondering when my 3 day old petition is going to actually be looked into.
Also, what happens to the people responsible for the attempted scam? The below reply is pretty vague. I would like to think if their intentions were dishonourable, they would have their accounts removed? The person who attempted to scam me could not write english properly during the negotiations, but types perfect english purchasing plex's for their other characters on the forums. Obviously a douche.

The same with me . I was scammed by someone that could not write properly english, but when i checked forums i saw that he could write english perfectly. Well he said that hes norwegian and because of that his english is poor. I just filled a petition and im courious how long it take to get back my isk.

Uh, two questions.
Regarding rule №1; IÆm selling multiple, identical (or damn near identical) characters. Quite a few of them. (I create mining alts, train them up to maxed mining skills, and then sell them individually). Do I seriously have to create a new thread, from each character? That seemsà really spammy.
And as for №3, uh, how does that work? If I give them the character, then how do I use that character to receive the ISK? ShouldnÆt my main receive the ISK for the character I will, uh, no longer have once I sell it?

You would think making character scam petition's would be high on CCP's priority list.
17 days. I find that unacceptable. I work in the IT Support industry myself. If one of my customers was waiting 2-3 days for acknowledgement (not solution) of a support call/log/ticket, I would be down the road, or in severe strife at work.
I have now been waiting 4 days for an acknowledgement of my support ticket. A simple, 'thanks we are looking into the problem, we will be back with you within x hours/days' would be acceptable.
CCP you need to allocate more resources to managing petitions. I hate taking the stance I am paying for this game but I expect things to be handled in a timely fashion and I am paying for your services.
More needs to be discussed on this issue to find a solution to all of our problems as it is obvious, things are not working currently.

Btw CCP should put on the top sticky topic on character bazar "How to avoid scamm" Where would be information when you should suspect you will be scammed .
They have also to change character transwering system to - First send me isk and then mayby i send you character isnt safe for buyers. I think it should be made like trading in the station where buyer put isk in some kind of window and seller put there his character to , then they both have to click accept to make deal. Scams still would be possible but that would be much much harder...

I hope you are just kind of dumb and not a troll, because I am actually going to give you a step by step answer.
Step One: Have ISK transferred to the character being sold from the buyer.
Step Two: Open address book, click on alt, click 'give ISK'.
Step Three: Type in the amount of ISK you are transferring to your alt and click OK.
Step Four: Check wallet to be sure it is empty.
Step Five: Transfer character.

17 Days. Ouch. I'm going to have to wait for 3 weeks to get billions of isk back. That is just awful and no way to combat real money traders.

I sub. to eve using GTCs, always have and will.
I want to transfer one of my toons to another person, I don't have access to my own credit card.
Is it against the rules to use a credit card in another name other than mine, even with the card holders permission ?
I don't plan on getting a credit card, so whats the procedure when your in this position ? |

On Chribbas eveboard page you can get your character listed as "for sale". But the real merit of it is, that you can search among the characters offered according to the skills you are looking for. Try it out, its really neat.

Hello Character Traders! There is some new info up in the rules. I say info cause it's a rule, but it's also an advisory.
When transferring a character the original accountÆs remaining time is not able to be transferred to any other account. After the character transfer the original accountÆs reoccurring payments will remain unaffected and is not canceled unless you manually do so in Account Management.

What's up with this and the $20 fee

The fee should be more like $5 or free and time from one account should be able to be transferred as well. We pay enough as it is so I don't see why CCP has to be so greedy. All of these bull sh*t rules and fees allmost make me wana quit playing and just dumping all my accounts, then u get no money. Come on CCP, why be so tight and insist on having your hands in both of our pockets.
CCP GM's, I want to start a poll in the forums somewhere to see how many people agree with me. Where can I do this?
POll:
1. Leave fees and rules as it is
2. Lower transfer fee to $5 and the ability to cancel an account and transfer remaining time to another account.

lets say i sent isk to a char to buy it ... and he said 24hours ... cause of roles ... i found a better toon before the toon was transfered (several hours) is the owner of the first toon obligated to refund the isk if i request ?

Is it possible to trade one character for another? i.e.- If I have a Gallente specced character with 25mil sp, can I trade it for an Amarr Specced character with 25mil sp? Or is isk the only thing I can get for it?
