I really like the MGS soundtracks, I've had to make considerable effort in the past to get hold of some of them on CD (now I make sure I get them as soon as they are released )
In terms of complete games rather than a single track then there's always one I pick
Waves of Morning Haze Memories of Distant Days
There are plenty of other great game soundtacks though, I find that they are often better than movie soundtracks these days too.

Peasants, the lot of you are bleeding peasants.
Battlefield: Vietnam has the best soundtrack of any game EVER.
Just sit in any of the vehicles, choose from any one of 16 pounding 60's/70's tracks and just ride baby, ride!
The track list for Battlefield Vietnam included throughout the game play is as follows
1. Creedence Clearwater Revival - "Fortunate Son" (opening theme)-As a reference to Platoon (film) and Forrest Gump. 2. Edwin Starr - "War" 3. Martha Reeves and the Vandellas - "Nowhere to Run"-As a reference to Good Morning, Vietnam. 4. The Troggs - "Wild Thing" 5. Rare Earth - "Get Ready" 6. Canned Heat - "On the Road Again"-As a reference to Tour of Duty (TV series). 7. The Guess Who - "Shakin' All Over" 8. Count Five - "Psychotic Reaction" 9. Deep Purple - "Hush" 10. The Kinks - "All Day And All Of The Night" 11. The Kinks - "You Really Got Me" 12. The Box Tops - "The Letter" 13. Jefferson Airplane - "Somebody to Love" 14. Bobby Fuller Four - "I Fought the Law" 15. Budapest Symphony Orchestra - "The Ride of the Valkyries"-As a reference to Apocalypse Now. 16. The Trashmen - "Surfin' Bird"-As a reference to Full Metal Jacket. 17. Jefferson Airplane - "White Rabbit" (Menu theme, instrumental remix)-As a reference to Platoon (film).

Most probably the Final fantasy series as far as soundtrack scores go. I don't even count "just songs" used in movies/games.

Morrowind music is VERY good, somewhat more modern but in the same league (if not better) is the music from Vanguard. It's epic tbh.

Most amazing game experience ever. I start the game for the first time, join a server joke around a bit and all of a sudden I hear music and it's coming closer. A Chinook hanging backwards to slow down while decending blaring "Somebody to love" out of it's speakers, it lands and out come hostile soldiers who turn me into cottage cheese. I wish they would stop with the crappy BF followups that lack soul, funkyness and actual gameplay and give us something good again.

if you still have the game, install it. Download 'Radtool'(its free) and point it towards your BF:V folder and it will extract all the music into whatever music format you like. I got that soundtrack on my comp, on CD (numerous copies) and never drive the car without a cd of it somewhere in the glovebox.

Little child, such cheap music has nothing on it's predecessors, which feature in Fallout series, like Maybe or I don't want to set the world on fire. It's no surprise a person who prefers the trash you list also prefers the shallow, lightweight, shoebox BF games, to the only realistic online fps ww2ol, or Battleground Europe as they're calling it these days.
Seriously though, those are some good songs you listed, and the stuff about the Chinook blaring music before death pours out of it sounds pretty damned good too.

My two all time favourite music/intros are:
Dungeon Keeper Intro
BF1942 Intro To be honest, 1942 was and still is the best of the series. (not played 'Nam...shame) Desert combat made it even more epic.
Damn you EA! Damn you to hell!
