SANS (Security info stuff) gives yellow alert for today for some activeX exploits.
If you use IE (shudder) set the correct killbits or if you surf alot, use alternate Browsers. An automatic Fix for the Dummys is available on the Microsoft Support Page HERE
that is all. you can go on killing stuff (in eve, thats it)

Yeah, Mostly the Latter, as Internet Explorer is very insecure, is shy about its ability to comprehend basic reading styles, the fact it is so bloated a cow sits and looks at it while thinking "Yes, your arse most definitely looks big in this" and it keeps forgetting where it left the keys to the house and that it has more security holes than The British Tax Service. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Now, now. You're just bashing it because MS have gotten it into their minds that remote execution of arbitrary code is a feature, not a plague onto the world, and therefore have added it on purpose… ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

Edited by: Pytria Le''Danness on 14/07/2009 12:15:06 At work the admins set up a Windows policy preventing the execution of Mozilla Firefox, we're supposed to use the allegedly superior IE7.
Thank god I use Opera.

Yep Akita, and thats the hidden plot of the Conspiracy Thingy whatever ppl. :)
"everyone" once in a while has to "go there" with IE because nothing else works. And there the hidden unknown exploits/vulnerabilities will be applied, your system made more insecure and stuff. and then youre once more a member of a botnet, despise your recent windows reformat :p
Think about it ^^
now where did i put that tinfoil hat...

Using IE always makes me feel unclean. You need to slaughter 20 virgins and take a bath in their blood to remove that feeling.

a funny thing is IE8 is pretty good, but firefox 3 was a slow, bloaty crap. that's why FF 3.5 claims to be so much faster ;oP
