Kazz I agree with you about putting shareholder rights first. It's a shame we can't have a discussion amongst all shareholders about what to do. I also believe that if the people that have mentioned they want to join in do so then there will be a thirst for investment.
As BP sales will take some time anyhow (and a 7-13% loss is, as you said, very minimal compared to what it could have been had you not been so prudent) I would like to give time to cosmo / LVV to come up with some proposals as to where to take this.
I mean we're at a 7-13% loss anyhow, I'd rather lose that in the share price of a working business that will give a future return than in dead ISK.
On a separate note I'd like to thank you for the effort you are putting into this.

I think that the best idea would be to liquidate everything and hand back the money, pro rata, to the investors.
However, if there are some people interested in running this, rather than sell everything, the option to launch a new IPO along the exact same lines should be explored.
The original investors could be allowed the option of buying in to this new IPO using the proposed liquidated price of their original investment (old shares can be transferred to confirm things) and assets to this value can be automatically transferred to the new IPO (with lockdowns, etc..).
Those original investors that want out can then be paid off by selling untransferred assets (or the money raised from the remaining IPO), and the remainder of the IPO can be opened to the public.
For example;
Original IPO of 1000 shares at 15,000,000 each, 15,000,000,000 ISK total
Remaining asset sales would net 13,000,000,000 ISK therefore each investor would get back 13,000,000 ISK per share.
A new Private Offering (IPO?) is launched, 70% of original investors want to transfer their stake so assets to the value of 9,100,000,000 ISK can be transferred to the new IPO with new corporation shares going to the these investors (hopefully using a more personally preferable value of 1,000,000 ISK per share) with no money needing to change wallets. Then the Private Offering can be made a Public Offering and opened to the public and the money raised, to the preset Offering value, can be used to purchase remaining assets and pay off the leaving original investors.
This would allow those that missed out first time to invest in a new "IPO" and would avoid the hassles of a takeover or "credit default swap", as well as distance operations from the original badly run/scam attempt.
Just my idea, and not too sure how feasible and well presented it is.

With current cost of capital in Eve running about 5% per month, it is better to liquidate.
At 5% cost of capital you can absorb a 7-13% loss in 2-3 months. Anything longer term than that and you are losing money.

All will go on the sell forums starting this Monday (accounting for time to unlock and move from HQ to Jita for sale)

Components are on the market, half sold already.
In negotiations with a private party regarding the prints. Can't get into the game at the moment to check my evemail until later today. If I can move all of them at the same time, I think its preferential to letting them possibly languish on the sell forums for a month or more.
That and I had to petition to get them unlocked cause after 3 vote inits it still wouldn't unlock them from the office. |

I've been wrangling to try and get these prints unlocked and currently have had a petition in since Monday. Until they get unlocked there isn't much I can do.
Currently negotiating with a few interested parties though, so hopefully you guys wont have to bear having them on the sell forums for ages.

Well technically yes. On the parts sorta, they are tracking higher than my estimated 1.9 return.. thankfully due to mineral prices taking a spike. |

I'll be doing the daily bump thing until they move, and while I had opted to just wait until everything liquidates to pay out. I'm just going to process payments as they come in now since this is taking longer than expected. I'd rather everyone get their isk back sooner than later so it can go towards something productive. |
