Edited by: Amerilia on 16/07/2009 08:01:37 I just wasted my 10.0 (displayed) standing with an agent because the "Accept" "Decline" and "Delay" Buttons are too close to each other. I aimed for Decline, but in the hurry I hit Accept on a low sec mission, so I had to abort it again.. killing my standings. Just pan Accept on the left side and Delay on the right side, with Decline in the middle, and the problem is over.. theyre really too close to eachother.

Better UI improvement: put delay in the middle.
If you have poor mouse control and want to delay you can always spam the area at the top right of the window.
If you have poor mouse control and accidentally hit delay, just reopen the dialog.
The real problem is accept and decline should not be adjacent.

Or that, just fix it already

Why don't you just slow your roll a bit... Chill out... Remember why you're playing a video game in the first place...
UI could use some improvements here and there but you need to realize that you being angry on the forums won't make it happen... You made a mistake, you probably won't make it again, your standings will come back... Be happy if this is your biggest problem in life...

Beeing Angry on the Forums helps, for one it can fix the problem, and it helps me to calm down afterwards Further my Standings will come back, probably will take a few months though :/

You want a bad UI? Look no further than the Probing UI.
Nothing says "ARRRRRRRRRRRRRG!" better than putting the 'Recall Probes' option next to 'Analyze'. --- The Gate: Lol, try targeting me in a fleet fight. The Station: No U. |

Eve's UI troglodytes are the best in the business. Who else can put Reprocess next to Board Ship? And many other examples that have somewhat changed over the years.
It's like they don't want us to play drunk or sleep deprived.

Hay, i made a stupid mistake today. This was cleary CCP's fault, so i demand they change it!
Though the UI really IS crap. Especially the context menus. I wish i knew how money i already wasted on broker fees and all that by accidently hitting "remove order" instead of "change order". WHY IS THERE NO "Are you sure you want to do this?" MESSAGE?

Ah, so you accidentally ACCEPTED the mission (by clicking accept instead of decline/delay), because of the bad UI. Sorry, can't say I have much sympathy for you. That standing penalty won't kill you, just find another agent further away from lowsec and grind on.
Also; courier missions into lowsec are pretty safe. Just fit istabs/stabs and cross your fingers. A little excitement never hurts

c'mon it's 2009, every single other MMO and even multiplayer games have the possibility to scale the UI and proper multimonitor support. which BTW are things everyone who just finished a programming career can code in one night. and that's just an example
so, yeah. the UI is crap. big time.
