What are your long or short term goals for eve?
I want to work my way up from miner, to manufacturer, to corp member, to corp owner.
Eventually, at some point, i would also like to PvP.

Find a consistent way to make a decent amount of isk in a smaller timeframe - without wanting to gouge my eyes out with heated railroad spikes.
Then pvp with it.

my goal is to make sure rancer is succesfully defended against pirates so that innocent traveleers are safe to go about their business.
one day i would like to make an alliance filled with many defence leagues, and protect the whole of eve from pirates.

If you want to make it like a drake, buy a drake :p
properly active tanked tengu is expensive (1.3B for the shield booster), but the performance is ludicrous. Tanks to the moon (and back) and will still chase you down, scramble you and rip you to pieces.

to keep having fun. there are tangible (but minor) goals I have (like getting a Black Ops) but as long as i'm enjoying myself along the way, EvE is it's own reward.

I've been playing for nearly 6 years now,so skills are getting to the point where i'm hitting the law of diminishing returns in a big way(2% bonuses per level,takes weeks to train),got more than enough isk as well,and can pretty much fly all races very competently.
So,the only big thing left is training for a titan basically....The end game.
