Just randomly wondering, since it seems everyone has an opinion on what's the worst thing in EVE.
Personally I hate the sov mechanic, since it basically means the only people with territory are the ones with massive capship fleets.

I love Eve but I guess the combat system bugs me the most. The game favors the defender too much. warp core stabs, the agility of small ships is such that it is overly difficult to lock up, undocking games on high sec stations, Control Q to avoid combat, the effects of local, etc, etc.

That the entire system of player versus player combat encourages talentless blobbing up of superior numbers in every conceivable situation - more than 90% of which takes place on the same spot, stargates. That the only tried and true (and tiresome) tactic in EVE is the bait-and-blob.
Other than those faults, it's a great game.

The sound being borked, shields and active tank sound like a train and turrets sound like a mouse farting.

The whole session change mechanic, and the fact that you can't dock, undock, switch ships, or jump (normally or with a jump drive) for 30 seconds after doing anything more advanced than scratching your ass.
Docking, joining a fleet, moving to the appropriate slot in the fleet, switching ships, then undocking turns into a five minute operation. It's very annoying.

Warp disruption bubbles. If there ever was a more cheap and lazy mechanic in a PvP game I can't think of it.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

I love those. And really bubbles aren't for lazy people because they aren't a win button. But I think I hate people that complain about stuff like bubbles the most. And these forums.

I don't like the warp in warp out structure of gang combat, I'd like flying fleets into strategic positions and such to be possible.
I also don't like the generic quality of the universe, ie more COSMOS type stuff (and 10x the amount of backgrounds and unique planets, black holes, ect) would be nice.
Of course eve is still the only revolutionary MMO still out there atm, I love it!

When I want to clone jump and I have to leave my ship. Then I have to wait forever after pausing my skill because "session change is in progress."
Slowly buying parts for a new pc, will be back ingame soon...

For me it's the UI.
It's really quite dreadful in terms of usability and it ends up affecting most parts of the gameplay.

Don't have any hate issues, have issues i'd like to be in the game, but that's just the usual way games go.

How long it takes to do a mission and scoop all the lootz .. level 3s shouldn't be eating up 1 hour of my game time!!!
Less lootz, more bounty plz.
Those are just 'annoyances' actually. Only thing about the game that I dislike is when a patch changes ships about. i.e. they suddenly have 100% more hit points or go from 4 guns to 5 .. just breaks immersion for me :(

Whats that? run damsel in distress another 47 times to get enough money to run it 47 more? sure, why not.

The way warp speeds/accel are pretty much all the same.
BS should warp at freighter speed and inty should be the fastest, would be much more tactics employed.
