I'm not afraid to call The BIG Deal a BIG success. As a matter of fact - It has exceeded even my wildest expectations from 1 year ago. Back then the 'goal' of selling 80 shares (equal to 8 full Battleship BPo's) seemed more or less unachivable - But that was the 'dream'. Oh boy - Did that dream ever come through - BIG time. A year later we have sold no less than 356 shares... Representing more than 35 full Battleship BPo's!. More than 4 times the 'unachivable goal'.... The numbers involved are mindboggling.... (I'd wager the bet that BIG is probably by far the largest buyer of original battleship blueprints ) Those 356 shares represent a total value of 31,652,500,000 ISK. Thats a load of ISK by any standard. The 'end goal' of The BIG Deal is ofc in the end to hand over the original Battleship BPo to the shareholder, once all 10 shares have been bought. Some shareholders have taken a very long time to accomplish this, and others have managed to buy a new share each week. In total we have handed over a original Battleship Blueprint to a shareholder no less than 18 times during the past year!. Any mindboggling ISK amounts aside - that to me is the true meassure of the succes of The BIG Deal. Over the past year I have on occation released a bit of data about The BIG Deal - But nothing as detailed as I'm about to. A 1 year anniversary is something special - So I feel that the "year in numbers" for The BIG Deal should be something special as well So to all the inquisitive minds out there - Feast your eyes on this The BIG Deal - The Year in Numbers Total shares sold : 356 Total BPo's paid out : 18 (thats more than 2 'full sets' of battleship blueprints!) Total BPc's paid out : 3364 (Thats 50,460 hours of lab time or 5.8 years!) Number of shareholder corporations : 76!!! Multiply that by the number of people in those corps benefitting from getting BPc's each week - and you'll start to realize just how BIG an impact The BIG Deal has had on many EVEians - It's alot.... As most of their customers don't buy out the BPO, FA gets to keep it. It is a nice cash cow. With the BS BPC prices at record lows, one would expect ppl to see this scam for what it is. Sadly, sales are up. So by all means, all buy into the BIG deal, and ensure they have enough cash to buy out and monopolize all T2 items. CFS is underwriting this, and so should you!
