The camo on the Typhoon looks horrid. Truly terrible. I for one love the typhoon but would not be caught dead flying that atrocity.
A pic of a RF Typhoon from a FW Matar complex was posted earlier and it looks truly awesome. Is it so much to ask for that?
PS. If you do have your heart 100% set on camo in space, how about some semi-realistic NAVY camouflage since they are NAVY ships. You do realize that woodland is the army? Something like the "dazzle" wartime camouflage used extensively during WW1 and on some of the USN and German battleships in WWII (Bismarck, Tirpitz, etc).

These camo schemes disgust me.
I'm not a big fan of most of the paint jobs on ships in this game. Some of the paintjobs in this thread by users are very hot though.

yes woodland camo fails..
Navy cammo however isnt much better imo, naval camoflage as far as i can tell is to break up the contours of the ship, working together with waves and horizonts and such.
Perhaps thinking out of the box and actually invent space camo... It is of course stupid to even wanting to hide your ship visually when the ships are all sensor fitted 
Perhaps a player competition on making a new paintjob for the Minni and Gallente faction ships might be in order.

i think the faction amarr ships are REALLY going in the rite direction. what i would really really love to see is if they gave them the similar black paint job as the damnation gets, along with the othet T2 amarr ships. the black and blue look is very sexy. it has a sort of "dark amarr" feel to it, invoking power and a sort of fear. i think the faction ships should go with something more along the lines of that.

PLEASE use the RODEN POLICE MAJOR (black and red) paintjob on the navy megathron it looks just badass!!!
The green camo is ok but not that great.
Just write in the description that Roden Shipyards were comissioned to build an upgrade of the megathron for the federal navy ;)
The fleet typhoon's camo pattern is waaaay too small... a ship that crowded in detail and plating should have a simple camo pattern

The more I look at the navy scorp, the more I think it's a muddy mess.
Dominix and mega at least look crisp. Navy typhoon just looks...bad :(
Navy armageddon is really good though.

blue, white, gray, black camo would be fine IMO. Just like artic camo. At least, better than the wood camo, thats a no brainer. 
EDIT: Sweet mother of baby panda what the hell is that... that typhoon look so UGLY. Its, disturbing, it look very amateurish as well. Pathetic use of photoshop.

If thats the only reason they have for changing the skin im sorely disappointed, the models have been out for what a year? The navy ships have been around alot longer then that, they should change the model skins, not the ingame ones. I would think that enough people have voiced their displeasure over this change that they could as least respond in this thread .

Well i think black and white camo navy megathron looks too much like the vindicator...
I would looove it if they used the RODEN POLICE MAJOR skin its black and shiny red...absolutely amazing looking!

WTF have you been smoking CCP? Seriously, you should fire the dudes who cooked up the "wood/whatever camo in space" idea.. The ONLY good-looking thing is amarr ship, others are just f*cking horrible!
I for sure would resign my post as a navy officer if I would have to fly one of those monstrosities..

I guess i'm little weirdoo, but i actually like the new navy mega and domi look. Yes... camo in space doesn't make much sense, but it looks good in my eyes.
Though the navy geddon looks totally awesome and would like that kind of coloring in the navy mega and domi too.

I really hope that they put the navy mega skin back to the way it was.
It was awesome. Slick, dark and cool.
The new camo one is just stupid, you don't use camo in space and it looks terrible. Even the camo was worth using no self respecting captain would fly a ship that shoddy looking.

Amarr paint jobs are absolutely uber. New scorp is meh, new mega is crap and new phoon looks like a giant space turd (which somewhat ballances the fact it kicks so much ***).
